Jr. high grid
The Eisenhower Knights junior high football team defeated Conneaut, 26-8, on Thursday October 10. An interception by Jaydon Hayes set up an 18-yard run by Matt Huling for the Knights' first touchdown. Eisenhower increased its lead when a Conneaut punt was blocked by Justin Hagberg and recovered by Jared Younger on the Eagles' 10-yard line, where Spencer Head completed a pass to Hayes for a 12-0 lead at the half.
Hayes had his second interception early in the third quarter, then finished the drive with a 10-yard touchdown run. With Conneaut driving down the field, Hayes picked off another ball and returned it for a touchdown, and Hagberg ran in the two point conversion to complete the Knights scoring.
