Firearm lost. Warren-based state police said between July 8 and Oct 14 William Wolfe, Warren, lost a .380 caliber Taurus firearm (serial number 1141OA) at an unknown location. Anyone has may have found it or knows of its whereabouts is asked to contact the state police.
Simple assault. Warren-based state police said that on Sept. 29 Tyler D. Wilson, 20, Warren, subjected a known victim to physical contact at a party at a private residence on Route 27, by striking the victim in the mouth and causing injury. Police said the victim will require extensive dental work. Wilson will answer to charges before District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth in Youngsville.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle accident on Oct. 16 at 3:11 p.m. on Rt. 957 west of Lanning Hill Road. A 1998 Chevrolet CK 1500 truck, driven by Jeremy Jones, Jamestown, NY, was traveling east on 957. Police said that Jones became distracted and traveled off the south side of the roadway. The vehicle then returned to the roadway and traveled across both lanes of traffic and traveled off the north side of the roadway, striking two brees before coming to rest. Jones was not injured and was wearing a seat belt. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Jones has been cahrged with roadways laned for traffic.

Theft. Warren-based state police said between Aug. 20 and 25 an incident occurred when someone took a wallet belonging to Thomas Kay, Warren, at his residence and used his Kwik Fill credit card. The total amount used on the card was $150. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.
Simple assault/harassment. Warren-based state police said they are investigating a simple assault on Oct. 14 at 211 Crary Ave., Sheffield, when a known adult male struck a known juvenile in the face with his hand causing a red mark on the side of her cheek, then causing her to fall against the window seal where she received a laceration above her right eye.
