Free Books for Kids Town

October 25, 2013
The Times Observer

There will be a Free Books for Kids Town event Saturday, Oct. 26, in celebration of National Make a Difference Day. Organizer Ruby Wiles said, "We invite you to help us blanket our county with free books this Saturday." Wiles has more than a thousand books to give away and is looking for ideas about where groups of children may be, book transportation, helpers, and sites. Wiles can be reached at rmwiles@ymail.com. Pictured are Nicholas Ditz, Pierce Landis and Nick Zock helping raise money and awareness, as well as distribute free books for free Books for Kids Town at BiLo on Oct 5. So far, this Saturday's sites include: Warren YMCA, Tidioute Public Library, the laundromat in Thorne's Plaza, Sheffield Public Library, NY Style Deli & Pizza, Valone's, Virg-Ann Flowers, Allegheny Outfitters and Allegheny Cyclery, among others.
