Arrest. On October 25, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department with assistance from the Warren County Sheriff's Department, arrested Bryan Hart, 41, Clarendon, on charges of violation of intermediate punishment. Hart, who was originally placed on house arrest with electronic monitoring by District Justice Glenn Carlson on the charge of dricing with license suspended, DUI related, was taken into custody by probation officers on a supervisor's warrant and committed to the Warren County jail pending further court action.
Retail theft. Conewango Township police reported that on Oct. 24 at 2:59 p.m. Sasha Camacho Cruz, 156 Stowe St., Jamestown, NY, was witnessed by Walmart Loss Prevenion pushing a cart full of merchandise with a total value of $432.99 from the store without paying for it. As Loss Prevention attempted to stop Cruz, she pushed the Walmart worker and fled from the scene on foot. Police, with the assistance of Warren State Hospital security, later located Cruz, who was hiding on the Warren State Hospital grounds. Police subsequently charged Cruz with retail theft and harassment.
Assault. Warren-based state police reported that on Oct. 24 at 1 a.m. Joshua Harrington, 29, Grand Valley, became severly intoxicated and assaulted a known 48-year-old male and a known 51-year-old female by striking them with a closed fist several times causing injury. After making contact with Harrington, he was allegedly found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Harrington was arrested and arraigned in District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth and committed to the Warren County jail on $25,000 bail.
