Missions at UM Church reported
Members of Covenant United Methodist Church are busy with several mission projects. Fresh fruits and vegetables which adorned the harvest table have been taken to the Ruth M. Smith Home, and 25 boxes were filled for Operation Christmas Child. Angel Tree boxes are due Dec. 1. Non perishables may be taken to the church on Dec. 8 and 15 for the Salvation Army while members also support them by ringing the bell two days at Warren Shurfine. An ongoing three-year commitment is a monthly pledge for a young couple as missionaries to Africa. A donation was also made to Release Time for students to attend religious education. Future projects include preparing health kits and filling flood buckets.
