Love Inc. in need
There are many opportunities to volunteer in the Love INC organization. Not everyone is able to move furniture, clean houses, or mow lawns, but there are many things that need to be done right in the office or on the telephone.
Right now the group is in need of some people to do clerical work, such as stuffing envelopes, filing papers, and general office work.
If you are interested in the call center, you may find that you would like to take incoming calls from clients to see what their needs are and pray with them. A brief training session will have you ready to help out .
Love INC partners with ReStore. They are very busy sorting through donated clothing and goods and waiting on people. Could you see yourself working there?
There often are clients who need a ride to a doctor or dentist appointment. If you are interested volunteering, call the Love Inc. office at 814-563-3394 leave a message.
Someone will return your call.

This food safety management certification course uses the National Restaurant Association (NRA) food safety curriculum for food service establishments.
Classes will be held on Monday, February 24, 2014 (9 a.m. - 4 PM) and Monday, March 3, 2014 (9 a.m. - 12 PM); an exa.m. to immediately follow class. Classes will be held at the Penn State Extension Warren County, 100 Dillon Drive, Youngsville.

The ServSafe course, conducted by Penn State Extension, is for individuals preparing for the exam. After attending the ServSafe class(es) and passing the proctored, multiple-choice exa.m. with a score of 75% or higher, participants will receive a ServSafe certificate, which meets the PDA requirement for food safety certification.
The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) requires that every retail food service operation have at least one employee who holds a "nationally recognized food safety manager certification" such as ServSafe. Further, a certified person must be available during all hours of the operation (they do not need to be present, but accessible). To receive and maintain certification, all individuals are required to pass a certification exa.m. every five (5) years.
