Friends of Duane "Dubs" Morningstar will be holding a benefit spaghetti dinner at the Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church Gymnasium on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. We want to pull together as a community to help defray some of the medical expenses the family is experiencing throughout his battle with colon cancer.

The Sugar Grove Library Book Club meeting had a special guest on Monday evening. The author for the January book, Lenore Skomal from Erie, came and spent the evening with us at the library! It was a truly interesting evening at Book Club.
We spent time learning about her character development and writing style. It was truly a memorable evening for us at the Book Club. February's book selection will be "Bones of the Barbary Coast" by Daniel Hecht. This is the third of the Cree Black thrillers and is about a home in California under which a human skeleton is discovered after the 1906 earthquake.
Get a copy of the book and join us at the February Book Club meeting, which will be held on Monday, Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sugar Grove Free Library. This should be another special book club as the author has agreed to Skype and join us for our discussion.
Check out the new revised Sugar Grove website. You just might be surprised at all the changes.
