Jeremy J. Saporito, 23, of National Forge Road, Irvine, passed away suddenly on March 17, 2014 due to injuries received from a heavy equipment accident.
He was born January 10, 1991 in Warren, to John Saporito and Julie (Skinner) Saporito, who survive him. Jeremy was the owner and operator of Saporito Excavating. He was a 2009 graduate of Youngsville High School and was an Eagle Scout with BSA Troop #22. He was a member of the National Technical Honor Society and also, a member of the Irvine Presbyterian Church. Jeremy loved using his heavy equipment, scrapping, driving his hearse around town, hanging out with his friends, shooting guns and blowing things up. He also enjoyed riding fourwheelers, motorcycles and snowmobiles. There was just something about Jeremy that made his friends and family smile.
In addition to his parents, Jeremy is survived by a sister, Lauren Saporito of Irvine, his girlfriend of 4 years, Taylor Josephson of Youngsville, 3 cousins, Brookie Lavigne of Chandlers Valley and Joey and Brandie Fill of Youngsville, a paternal grandmother, Delores Saporito of Youngsville, also his aunts and uncles, Lisa and Luke Johnson, Bridget and Tom Fill, and Eric Saporito.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, M. Richard and Atta Mae (Mamie) Skinner, and his paternal grandfather, Ross Saporito.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the Youngsville Free Methodist Church, 179 Davis Street in Youngsville from 48 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held there on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dennis Ledebur, pastor of the Irvine Presbyterian Church, officiating. A private burial will be in the Irvine Presbyterian Cemetery.
