On Wednesday evening, May 28, the First Presbyterian Church Sanctuary will once again be filled with the music of Broadway. The annual "Broadway Night" will begin with a free dinner in fellowship hall at 6 p.m., provided by Lynda Slocum and her crew. Diners will then move on to the sanctuary for the 7 p.m. "Broadway Night" variety show. Director Barry Dietsch promises an eclectic feel-good night of Broadway style entertainment featuring the Bell Choir, Sanctuary Choir, and numerous ensembles and solo acts. Dietsch reports that "many very talented cast members have been preparing Broadway-style acts and are looking forward to spending a fun-filled evening in support of a wonderful cause." Although admission is free, an offering will be collected to benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Event.
