The ANF Chapter of the North Country Trail Association has held several trail work days over the last two months. They built bog bridges and did drainage work on some very wet areas on both sides of Rt. 321 in the Chappel Creek area. From Minister Road to FR 179, they built water bars and a stream crossing. They also cut back brush and removed downed trees. Last weekend, they repositioned a bridge over Hemlock Run that had been dislodged by the heavy rains. Howe's True Value and Ace Hardware/Oneida Lumber helped the chapter financially with equipment and materials.
