Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between April 25 and 26 an ATV was stolen on Route 62 in Irvine. Police said the incident was originally reported to them on April 26 when a known 16-year-old male juvenile previously interviewed confessed to the theft. An investigation led to the confession and arrest of a known 15-year-old male. Police said both were allegedly involved in the ATV theft and conspiracy to steal the ATV. Police said both male juveniles have been charged with theft (of motor vehicle), conspiracy to commit theft and criminal mischief. Charges have been filed through the Warren County Juvenile Probation Department.
Possession of marijuana. Conewango Township police reported that on July 5 at 12:30 a.m. Jon Teater, 24, Erie, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers said they could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from a vehicle during a multi-department sobriety check on Market Street. A criminal complaint has been filed through District Justice Laura Bauer's office.
Criminal trespass. Warren-based state police reported that on July 4 at 4:47 p.m. Russell Edward Bahneman, 74, Pittsfield, was seen on property owned by the victim, of Andover, Ohio, Eureka Road without permission. Police said it was determined that Bahneman was driving on a suspended license and operating an unregistered vehicle. Police said Bahneman was charged with criminal trespass and several traffic citations.
