Weapons. Conewango Township Police charged Adam J. Mintzer, 28, of 30 N. State St., North Warren, with two counts of possession of prohibited offensive weapons at 11 a.m. Monday, July 21. Police said Mintzer was found to be in possession of two switchblade knives at his residence. Mintzer was taken to Warren County Jail after he failed to post $2,500 bail.
Crash. Corry-based state police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred at 4 p.m. Monday, July 28, at 38245 Route 6, Bear Lake. According to police, an unknown eastbound vehicle left the road and entered the front yard at 38245 Route 6 and drove away. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.
Harassment. Warren-based state police said they charged Norman Dale VanWinkle, 25, Sheffield, with harassment following a verbal and physical disagreement at 3:20 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at 205 Pickering St., Police said VanWinkle and a 22-year-old female were involved in a verbal disagreement when VanWinkle allegedly shoved the woman.
