I wanted to take a little time to say thank Warren County residents for their support and hospitality during the recent Pennsylvania Sheriff's Summer Conference that was held last week here in Warren. The conference was a HUGE success thanks to your support and hospitality. A few of the comments that were made were "What a beautiful area, we'll be back" and "Of all the conferences I've attended, this is the one I had the most fun at."
I would like to thank my fellow sheriffs who co-hosted:
Sheriff Bob Wolfgang, Forest County; Sheriff Nick Hoke, Crawford County; and Sheriff Eric Foy, Venango County. The one goal that we wanted to reach was to showcase the beauty, rich history, and hospitality of our area and reinforce how important family is. I think we hit a home run.
I would also like to thank my deputies and staff for the outstanding work you all did during the conference. I received several compliments about their professionalism and willingness to make sure our visitors were taken care of. I am grateful for each one of them. We, the host sheriffs did the easy part by planning, but our deputies and staff made it work.
Thank you to the local municipal police for your support and encouragement. It was great to see you visiting our vendors and training.
In closing, I hope that the residents of Warren County are as proud of us as we are of them.
