Library will offer card embroidery class

August 7, 2014
Times Observer

It's holiday time in September with craft instructor Jane Harris when participants will learn how to create a holiday embroidery card. This card is a holiday wreath and holding the class in September will allow participants enough time to make additional cards to share with family and special friends during the holidays. The class will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 16. This class, which will meet in Slater B on the third floor of the library, will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. Latecomers will need to catch up with the rest of the class as the project will take the entire 150 minutes of class time. There will be a mandatory $7 non-refundable material's fee which will be due at the time of pre-registration. This class is open to 15 adults and teens age 13 or older. Both beginners to the craft and those who have previous experience are welcome. A sample of the project is on display at the library.
