Clarification
A story in the Saturday, April 29, edition of the Times Observer indicated that Warren County Career Center student Conner Younger would be the first homeschool student to complete a three-year program at the career center. He will not be the first.
Clarification
The time of the Russell United Methodist Church $12 drive-through chicken barbecue dinner has been changed to 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 15. The time for the free community breakfast the same day remains unchanged.
The first reference in a Nov. 23 story about a Warren man who received a lifetime commercial recreation award was omitted. Dan Merenick, a 1993 Warren Area High School graduate, was awarded the Howard Uibel Lifetime Achievement Award winner by the Resort and Commercial Recreation Association.
One of the companies — Hillview Towing — that donated vehicles to City of Warren Police to use during firearms qualifications was incorrectly identified in a story in the Saturday, May 14, edition of the Times Observer.
Awareness Walk
The date of the Warren Area High School Class Officers of 2025 Suicide Awareness Walk is Sunday, May 22. The date was listed incorrectly in the caption of the story in the Monday edition of the Times Observer.
A Saturday letter incorrectly noted Allegheny Outfitters spearheaded a former dock project. That project, which would have included a canoe and kayak dock adjacent to the Hickory Street Bridge, were led by Leadership Warren County.
