T.K. Creal has been named senior vice president and credit administration manager or Northwest Bank. Mike Smelko, chief credit officer, made the announcement.

In his new role, Mr. Creal will be responsible for appraising, special assets, retail collections and credit operations. In addition, he’ll continue in his role as the credit officer for the Corporate Finance division of Northwest.

Since joining Northwest in April 2012, Mr. Creal has made a significant contribution to the enhancements made to the credit administration. His knowledge and expertise in commercial and industrial lending, loss mitigation, credit operations and credit risk management make him a valuable asset to Northwest.

Mr. Creal holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio University. He recently graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.

He lives in Warren with his wife, Erin, and two children, Holden and Emmy.
