Superior Tire & Rubber Corp. has announced the promotion of Joseph Peterson to the position of Vice President of Engineering and Quality.

Since joining the company in February of 2017, Peterson has been instrumental in reorganizing and enhancing the company’s engineering functions. Under his leadership, there have been significant new designs for every business unit that will create competitive advantages for Superior Tire’s customers and also create value for the company. He has also taken on the responsibility of directing the company’s quality department and is a member of the Manufacturing Planning Team that is aggressively implementing the Toyota Production System throughout Superior Tire’s manufacturing facilities. His efforts will ensure Superior Tire & Rubber Corp.’s position as a world-class supplier to the many markets they serve.

Joe, a Warren County native, lives in Warren with his wife and four children.
