“Paddling Hazard — Tree Down in Conewango at North Warren. A large stem of a willow tree (Salix spp.) growing on an island has fallen into Conewango Creek in North Warren, Pennsylvania (near the bike/hike trail), all but blocking one channel… It is likely possible for paddlers to pass by the top of the willow along the river right bank, or perhaps even to squeak under the trunk near the island, but to be on the safe side you may wish to simply keep to the river left channel to pass by this island, according to the Conewango Creek Watershed Association Facebook page.
