The Youngsville Marching Eagles brought home the Group 1 Open PA State Championship first place trophy. The competition Saturday was held at Mansion Field in Altoona, where the band achieved a score of 94.60 and were also awarded high auxiliary, music, percussion and visual awards for their performance. The Eagles will finish out their competitive season on Nov. 6 at the TOB Atlantic Coast Championships in Hershey.
