Brigadier General Andrew F. Scarcella

Andrew F. Scarcella was recently promoted to the rank of Brigadier General in the United States Army Reserve.

BG Scarcella is a 1990 graduate of Warren Area High School. He was commissioned as an Infantry officer after graduating from the University of Notre Dame in 1994. Since then, he has served in the Active Army, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, and United States Army Reserve. He currently serves as the Deputy Commanding General – Support for the 88th Readiness Division at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. He resides in Alexandria, Va., with his wife and son.

Scarcella is the son of Tom and Diane Scarcella of Warren and the grandson of the late Edna and Frank Scarcella of Sheffield, Elizabeth and Robert Jones of Sheffield, and Edwin Anderson of Warren.
