Ellicottville Central School defeated Randolph Central School 71-39 in a recent Media One High School Bowl match at Jamestown Community College.

In another match, Panama Central School topped Youngsville Area High School 73-5.

Jackson Kruszynski of Ellicottville and Abby Becker and Xander Gould of Panama Central earned Player of the Match honors.

Ellicottville (1-0) was represented by Kruszynski, Jayce Pearl, Siying Sun, and Emma Lafferty.

Randolph (0-1) team members were Jonah Bailey, Sofia Bieniek, and Emma Turney.

Becker, Gould, Lauren Gibbs, Liz Anderson, and Ian Heath competed for Panama (1-0).

The Youngsville (0-1) team included Gavin Bundy, Michael Raffanello, Kale Jesperson, Konor Eck, and Kiana Stanbro.
