Youngsville Life: Youngsville Library to host job fair

Elijah, Jensen, Eden, George, and Liam (left to right) show off the “Brush Bots” that they created during Youngsville Public Library’s first of four “STEM-ulating Stories & More” programs. After listening to a story about Robots and learning about electricity and simple circuits, they each used a simple circuit technique to create and experiment with their very own “Brush-Robot” that moves, jiggles, and scuttles across a table. The STEM-ulating Stories & More program is for school-age kids ages 5-12, not for children 4 and under (in part due to the materials being used and the concepts being discussed/discovered). No registration required. Upcoming STEM dates at the library are Wednesdays: July 17, July 24, and July 31 from 1 to 2 p.m.

Monday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be a job fair located at the Youngsville Public Library.

The Job Fair is being presented by Infinity Resources and PA Careerlink. There are multiple job openings with a diverse group of manufacturing facilities and institutional housekeeping. Temp-to-hire positions. Immediate openings.

Infinity Resources also offers free transportation to some of the jobs being offered at this Job Fair. Training is available and there are immediate openings. PA Careerlink will also be there to assist with resume writing or other job-related needs. This is a great Job Fair for anyone who is new to the job-market or for those who wish to explore what training opportunities are available.
