St. John’s Lutheran Church will host an inside trunk-or-treat event on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. New this year are candy being offered made by locally owned Stonehill Chocolates. St. John’s will also be participating in Halloween Read and Treat, a national literacy event where children make a free book selection from books offered. The church is located at 200 Pleasant Drive, Warren. From left are Ruby Wiles and Elaine Taraska showing off some of the candy and books that will be available.
