4-H equestrians compete in state championship horse show

Youth from the Warren County 4-H Horse Program recently participated in the State Championship Horse Show in Harrisburg, with 17 youth competing with 20 horses and representing every division offered in the state 4-H horse program.

Participating from the Scandia Trailblazers were:

– Dakota Hultburg with Romans Playin Poco, winning the state championship for ranch trail and ranch pleasure 14-18, reserve champion for ranch riding 14-18, third place in western horsemanship 15-18 and fourth place in western grooming and showmanship 15-18.

– Addison Britton with Cooser, a finalist in beginner western horsemanship and in western grooming and showmanship 8-11

– Kierra Wismar, state champion in low working hunter horses and in low equitation over fences 14-18, fifth place in hunter under saddle horses 14-18 and in hunter hack horses

– Annika Wyman with Kids Palface, placing third in ranch pleasure 8-18, seventh in ranch riding 8-13, eighth in novice reining and a finalist in western horsemanship 12-14 and western grooming & showmanship 12-14

Participating from the Kinzua Ridge Runners:

– Bristol Holden with Rockstar N Fire Water, state champion in barrel racing horses 8-13 and raised box keyhole horses 8-13, reserve champion in pole bending horses 8-13 and third place in bow tie horses 8-13

– Bristol Holden with Smokey, eighth place in miniature horse driving 8-13 and a finalist in miniature horse in hand trail 8-13

– Starrlin Slack with Ima Chocoholic, fourth place in breed type hunter under saddle horses 8-13, fifth place hunt seat equitation on the flat 12-14 and fifth place open trail horses 8-13

– Hialeah Stanton with Charlie Mae, state champion in miniature horse in hand trail 14-18, finalist in miniature horse driving 14-18, second place in intermediate ground roping and recognized for being part of Team Horse Power.

– Kaylynn Brendlinger with Ian, finalist in barrel racing horses 8-13

Participating from the Trails and Rails Equestrians:

Nora Morton with Sheeba Sues Dream, finalist in beginner western pleasure and recognized for more than 500 Hoof Hours

– Emelyn Moore with Sautern, seventh pace in low equitation over fences 14-18 and a finalist in low working hunter horses and hunterr hack horses

– Alaina Ongley with HR Crystal Poco Doc, a finalist in ranch riding 8-13 and second place in landscape photo contest 8-13

– Evelyn Ongley with Wholeo Olena, sixth place in classic hunter under saddle horses 8-13

Participating from the Sugar Grove Ruff Riders:

– Zoe Atkins and Marty, finalist in pleasure pony driving

Arlene Boisvert with Red Hot Travler, state champion in saddle seat equitation 8-13, third place in saddle seat pleasure and finalist in open trail ponies

– Arlene Boisvert with Chicken Nugget, 10th place English grooming and showmanship 12-14 and finalist in miniature horse jumping 8-13

– Esther Boisvert with Simply Invincible, finalist in large hunter under saddle ponies.

– Jordyn Morrison with Give Me The Cash, 10th in ranch horse pleasure 8-13 and a finalist in ranch riding 8-13.

– CeAura Thompson with Shredder was a finalist in beginner trail and in beginner western horsemanship.
