WHS Class to meet
The Warren High Class of 1957 will meet on Saturday at noon at the Eagles Club in Warren.
Turkey party is Nov. 24
The Knights of Columbus Council 964 will be hosting its annual turkey party Sunday, Nov. 24 at Holy Redeemer Church, 11 Russell St., Warren. Doors open at 1 p.m There is no entry fee for admission. Tickets for $20 will be sold to guarantee one play for each spin. Coffee, pop, beer, kielbasa, hotdogs, and chips will be provided.
Forest Service finds no impact from North Kane project
The USDA Forest Service, Allegheny National Forest has determined that the North Kane project poses no significant environmental impact. In conducting the North Kane Environmental Assessment, all environmental effects, public comments, and inputs were considered for the draft decision. For more information on the North Kane project, please visit the forest website. Printed copies are available from the Marienville Ranger District Office. Objections for this project, including any attachments or supporting documentation, will be accepted for 45 days, beginning the first day of the publication of the legal decision notice in The Kane Republican newspaper. Only those individuals or organizations that submitted written comments during one of the designated comment periods are eligible to object.
