Caregivers Support

Group to meet Monday

The Caregivers Support Group will meet Monday at noon at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 PA. Ave. E., Warren. Enter the building via the elevator entrance and proceed to the Wesley Parlor. The meeting is open to the public. All caregivers, and those interested in learning about Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementia-related disorders are welcome. Available at no charge are numerous printed materials from the Alzheimer’s Association regarding topics ranging from behaviors to activities to help available in the community. A lending library of materials to borrow is also available. Meetings are devoted primarily to sharing concerns and asking questions in a confidential setting. Handouts will include the holidays and appropriate gifts and celebrations. Plans will be discussed for the annual Christmas luncheon. The results to date of teams participating in the September 2024 Warren Area Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be shared as well as upcoming local educational events. Community breakfast

is Saturday

Russell United Methodist Church, 17 N. Main St., Russell, will host a community breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausages, eggs, orange juice and coffee. All are welcome.
