On Halloween, Free Books for Kids Town brought a wide assortment of books for the kindergarten students at WAEC. Each child made their personal selection of a book to keep. This was part of the national literacy event known as Halloween Read and Treat. In its 12th year, Halloween Read and Treat has brought thousands of books to children. “We want to thank Mr. Shawn Bedow, WAEC principal, and his amazing team of teachers, aids and staff for their partnership in this book give-away. It was so easy to work with him and his team. We are lucky to have them serving our children,” said Ruby Wiles, Free Books for Kids Town director.
