Christian Women to meet Feb. 11

RUSSELL – Jamestown-Warren Christian Women, Village Missions Country Partners will hold its Valentine Day luncheon on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at noon at Praise Fellowship Church, Russell. Spiritual speaker will be Ruth Huck of Warren, and music will be provided by Vi Birchard, Warren. Bring a $1 brown bag item for exchange. Lunch is $7 and reservations can be made to Nancy Schuyler at 716-397-3674. There are no dues nor membership.

Bridge league winners announced

Tuesday at the Allegheny Community Center, Bill Massa placed first with Marge Neel in second. Donna Holding and Linda Jensen were first and second on Thursday at the Woman’s Club. Friday saw the completion of the annual Bridge Marathon at the Woman’s Club with the team of Marcy O’Brien and Nan Cashman coming in first and Bill Massa and Connie Michell in second.
