to hold petition
signing event Thursday
A new election cycle has officially begun for candidates to circulate petitions for the spring primary. The Warren County Democratic Committee will host a petition signing event on Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Jefferson DeFrees Family Center, 207 Second Ave., in the Wetmore Room. To sign a Democratic candidate’s petition, one must be a registered voter in the Democratic Party. Candidates need to be registered voters and to have their petitions signed in order to appear on the primary ballot.
