Outdoor Club to hike at Audubon Sunday

Members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike Sunday at the Audubon Community Nature Center, 1600 Riverside Road, Jamestown. The group will meet at the kiosk at 2 p.m. Earl and Linda Ross will be the leader for the hike.

Community Blood Bank

to host blood drive

The Community Blood Bank will host a blood drive from noon to 5 p.m. March 18 at Holy Redeemer Church,

11 Russell St., Warren. Donations are needed from all blood types, but especially O-negative, the universal donor type. CBB is asking all eligible individuals to consider donating to help meet the critical need. To donate, individuals must be at least 17 years old (or 16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. Appointments can be scheduled by visiting www.fourhearts.org or by calling Edinger at 814-596-3395. Walk-ins are also welcome, but scheduling an appointment ensures a smoother process for donors. Blood donations take about 45 minutes.

to meet for lunch today

The Warren High School Class of 1955 will hold its regular monthly luncheon at Lawson’s West End Takeout at 12:30 p.m. today.

Warren Class Of 1957 To Meet Saturday

The Warren High Class of 1957 will meet Saturday at noon at the Eagles Club in Warren.

Caregivers Support

Group to meet

The second monthly meeting of Caregivers Support Group in March will be held Monday at noon at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren. Those attending should enter the building via the elevator entrance and proceed to the Wesley Parlor. If desired, bring a bag lunch and beverage. The guest speaker will be Zachary Hnatyszyn, vice president of community outreach for Culture Care Senior Living in Jamestown and his presentation will include the various services available through his agency. The meeting is open to the public and all caregivers and those interested in learning about Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementia-related disorders are welcome. Tornado test coming up

The Warren County Department of Public Safety will be testing all hazards/tornado sirens on Friday at 1 p.m. Additional activations may occur between 1 and 3 p.m. for a maintenance window if required.
