Women’s Club holding bake sale Saturday

The Woman’s Club of Warren is hosting its annual Usable Discards and Bake Sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Shoppers can browse a variety of gently used items and homemade baked goods in the ballroom of the Waters Mansion, 310 Market St., Warren.

Elk Township to hold cleanup May 17

ELK – The annual spring clean-up day for Elk Township residents will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the township’s maintenance garage. No oil, paint/liquid hazardous waste, mattresses, asbestos, fluorescent bulbs, propane tanks, computers, or yard waste will be accepted. Pick-up truck loads are $20 while car and van loads are $10. Warren Class of 1956 to meet

The Warren High School Class of 1956 will hold its monthly luncheon at the 302 Pub & Eatery, 302 Pennsylvania Ave. East, Warren, at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Classmates, spouses and friends are welcome to attend.
