The Warren County Conservation District has garden plots available at the Hatch Run Conservation Demonstration Area on Hatch Run Road north of Warren.

The gardens serve as a place for families to have a garden of their own if they don’t have space on their property. The Conservation District charges $25 for each plot to offset the costs of materials for the layout and preparation of the 25′ x 25′ garden plots. .For more information contact the Conservation District at 814-726-1441.

The Conservation District has installed rain barrels among the gardens to provide a water source for gardeners. Water is not guaranteed to be available and cannot be provided in conditions such as drought.

Plots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis with previous renters getting first choice of plot location.
