Sugar Grove
Crash. Warren-based state police reported to the scene of a one-vehicle crash on May 28 at 10:51 p.m. on SR 69 just west of Rt. 27. According to police, Brice Williams, 18, of Sugar Grove, received minor injuries when she swerved to avoid hitting a suspected deer and struck a mailbox. Williams’ vehicle received minor damage and was driven from the scene. Williams was transported to Warren General Hospital by Sugar Grove EMS for treatment. Troopers were assisted by Sugar Grove VFD and Sugar Grove EMS.
Youngsville
Theft of a Motor Vehicle. Warren-based state police report on May 19 at 3:39 a.m, Derek Rodgers, 23, of Grand Valley stole a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee belonging to Mandy Smith, 26 of Youngsville, from a residence in Youngsville. Police said Rodgers struck two vehicles on E. Main St. causing several thousand dollars damage before fleeing the scene. After further investigation, Rodgers was located and admitted to the theft. He was charged with theft of a motor vehicle in District Magistrate Laura Bauer’s office.

Clarendon
Public Drunkenness. Warren-based state police were called to Bakers Keystone Gas and Service Station on May 23, at 8:54 a.m., for a report of a female acting strangely. Upon arrival, police found a juvenile female, 17, crying and acting very strangely. Further investigation revealed she was under the influence of bath salts. She was transported to Warren General Hospital by Clarendon VFD for treatment.
Conewango Twp.
False Alarm. Warren-based state police were called to Conewango Valley Country Club on May 24, at 3:16 a.m., for an alarm that turned out to be false. This is the fifth false alarm in a 12-month period. Charges have been filed through District Court.
Elk Twp.
DUI Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a crash on Scandia Road. on May 25 at 6:30 a.m. According to police, Darrell Beahon, 53, of Tidioute, received moderate injuries when his 2004 Dodge Dakota SLT left the west edge of Scandia Road. near the PA/NY border. The vehicle impacted a guide rail with it’s passenger’s side and rode the rail approximately 360 feet. The vehicle then impacted another guide rail with the front end and drove over an embankment. The vehicle came to a final rest over a steep embankment facing south. A good Samaritan came across Beahon who managed to free himself from the unit. He was subsequently transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. Charges of DUI and summary traffic violations are to be filed in District Court.
Farmington Twp.
Burglary. Warren-based state police were called to a Jackson Run Road. residence on May 25, at approximately. 10:28 a.m., for an incident involving an unknown actor attempting to forcibly break into a residence while the victims were inside. After a brief confrontation, the unknown actor fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV heading north on SR 69. The actor was described as a dark skinned male approximately. 6 feet tall, skinny, wearing a baseball hat with dark colored clothes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crimestoppers. Anyone playing golf at Jackson Valley Golf Club on the above date and time may have seen something due to the residence being directly across the road.
Mead Twp.
Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police are investigating a case of criminal mischief that occurred between 5 p.m., May 22, and 6:30 a.m., May 23, on an Oil Lease Road. off Brown Run Road. According to police, an unknown actor used an unknown vehicle to ram a gate causing extensive damage to property owned by Papco, Inc. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or Crime Stoppers.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Scattering Rubbish. Warren-based state police report Jonathan Monagle, 25, of Lakewood, NY is accused of scattering rubbish on the property of Franklin Zahm on May 21. A non-traffic citation was filed through District Court, for scattering rubbish. The accused removed the refuse from the victim’s property.
Youngsville
DUI. On May 24, at 9:30 p.m., Warren-based state police arrested Robert Williams, 61, for DUI following a traffic stop on Matthews Run Road. Williams was charged with DUI and other violations.

Conewango Twp.
Statutory sexual assault. Warren-based state police reported that between Feb. 28 and Mar. 31 Allen E. Burnett, 20, is charged with having sexual relations with a known 15-year-old female at a residence in Conewango Twp. Burnett has been charged with delonoy counts of statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors and a misdemeanor count of furnishing alcohol to a minor. He was arraigned before District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth and committed to the Warren County jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. The incident is pending further court action, police said.
Youngsville
Attempted theft. Youngsville police reported that on May 19 between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., someone entered an unlocked Dodge Neon at 413 North Main St., Youngsville, and went through the center console and glove compartment. The owner of the vehicle stated that he did not believe anything was taken. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Youngsville Borough police with any information.

Criminal trespass. Conewango Township police were called to Snap Fitness of the Warren Commons on May 22 at 9:50 a.m. after Steven Little, 27, Warren, refused to leave after being told to do so by management. Police said Little was cited for trespass.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police were called to the Valley Park Drive residence of Stephanie Rapp on May 21 at 12:30 p.m. According to police, Jonathon Williams, Sugar Grove, took a lawn tractor belonging to Rapp without her consent. Police said theft charges were filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
Erie County
Warrant arrest. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies and Warren County Adult Probation officers arrested Brandon Lavelle, 21, Wattsburg, at a residence on Wright Street in Corry on May 23 at 11 a.m. He was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to report to start his sentence and a supervisor’s warrant was issued by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas. He was placed in Warren County Prison pending further court action. Assisting at the scene were Corry City police and Erie County Sheriff’s deputies.

Youngsville
Crash. Warren-based state police reported that at 3:30 p.m. on May 19 on E. Main St., east of Oak St., a crash occurred when Derek R. Rodgers, 23, Grand Valley, driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was traveling east on E. Main St., when he left the lane of travel and struck a 2012 Dodge Caravan which was legally parked on the southern berm of E. Main St. Police said after he struck the Caravan, it then rolled forward in an eastern direction hitting a 2012 Ford Transit Connect that was legally parked on the southern berm as well. Rodgers’ vehicle suffered disabling front end damage and was towed from the scene. The other two vehicles both suffered moderate damage. Police said Rodgers had fled the scene of the crash. He was later charged with roadways laned.

DUI. Warren-based state police reported that at 11:27 p.m. on May 19 on Route 6 near the Glade Bridge, Robin L. Smith, 39, Jamestown, N.Y., driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala, was stopped after he committed several traffic violations, and was subsequently arrested for DUI.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police reported that a crash occurred at 10:55 p.m. on May 21, on Brown Hill Rd. just south of Fiddler Hill Rd., when Alexander Lopresti, 22, Sugar Grove, was traveling south on Brown Hill Road in a 2000 Honda Shadow, and swerved to avoid with a small animal coming off of the berm into his lane of travel. Police said Lopresti lost control of his motorcycle, which then rolled onto its right side, slid approximately 40 feet and came to rest on its right side with its front facing south. Police said Lopresti was wearing a helmet and sustained minor injury. Police said he was charged with classes of licences.

Retail theft. Warren-based state police report on May 20 at 3:15 p.m., Nancy Burris, 52, Tidioute, took items from Walmart at Warren Commons without paying for them. Police said she will face one count of retail theft before District Justice Laura Bauer.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report between 9 p.m. May 19 and 7 a.m. May 20 someone damaged the lawn at Oakland Cemetery by doing doughnuts and spinning tires. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.

Crash. Warren-based state police report a crash which occurred at approximately 11:40 a.m. on May 17 on Rt. 6 approximately .2 miles east of Rt. 27. According to police, Margery E. Peters, 65, Bear Lake, was operating a 2003 Dodge Ram traveling east on Rt. 27 when the front wheel of the vehicle came off. Peters was able to steer the vehicle to the side of the roadway. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Penn Mark Towing.
Columbus Twp.
Theft. Corry-based state police report investigating a theft which occurred between 12 p.m. on May 4 and 6 p.m. on May 16 at a property off of the west side of Reed Road. According to police, unknown actor(s) removed a combination lock from an access road to a property belonging to Carol Lynn Clapp, 61, Corry, and dumped garbage along the road. The lock is valued at approximately $15. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Corry-based state police.
Limestone Twp.
Theft by unlawful taking. Warren-based state police report investigating an incident of theft by unlawful taking which occurred between 11 a.m. on May 5 and 8:15 p.m. on May 18 at a residence on Rt. 62. According to police, unknown actor(s) removed two trail cameras belonging to Susan Montgomery, 57, Brunswick, OH, from her property. The cameras are valued at approximately $200. Burglery. Warren-based state police report investigating an incident of burglary, theft and criminal mischief which occurred between 7:45 a.m. and 12 p.m. on May 17 at 1372 Cider Mill Hill Road. according to police, unknown actor(s) forced entry into a residence belonging to Edward A. Thompson, 42, of Russell, and removed a 36″ Sharp flat-screen television, a Samsung DVD player, an Xbox 360 with controllers and games, and HP laptop with an external hard drive, a Yamaha keyboard and a Ryobi chop saw. Simple assault. Warren-based state police report investigating an incident of simple assault which occurred at approximately 1:10 a.m. on May 18 in the area of Stoney Mountain Lane. According to police, Kenneth G. Kiser, 49, Warren assaulted a 47 year-old female, also of Warren. Kiser threw a chair at the woman, hitting her in the right arm, during an altercation. The woman suffered moderate injury to the arm. Kiser was arraigned before District Judge George Gregory on charges of simple assault, harassment and resisting arrest and placed in the Warren County Jail on $25,000 bail.
Harassment. Warren-based state police report investigating an incident of harassment which occurred at approximately 4:44 p.m. on May 18 at the Wilderness Trailer Park. According to police, Roger James, 39, Clarendon was engaged in an argument with Vera James, 47, Clarendon, when she slapped him in the face.
Southwest Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police report investigating an incident of theft which occurred between 8 a.m. on May 13 and 12:30 p.m. on May 17 at 16419 Rt. 27. According to police, unknown actor(s) removed advertisement signs for a business belonging to Jeff Waychoff, 51, Grand Valley, from his yard. anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Warren-based state police or Warren County Crimestoppers.

Criminal trespass. Warren-based state police report investigating an incident of criminal trespass which occurred at approximately 12 p.m. on May 17 at the Chandlers Valley Trailer Park. According to police, Gabriel E. O’Neil, 22, entered the trailer park after being given notice not to be there.
Town of Kiantone
DWI. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department report an arrest for DWI which occurred at approximately 3:34 a.m. on May 19 on Rt. 62 in the town of Kiantone, NY. According to police, Crystal R. Borst, 23, Warren, was stopped for speeding on Rt. 62. Following further investigation, Borst was arrested on charges of DWI – BAC of .08 or greater and speeding.

Youngsville
Hit and Run. On May 13, at approx. 8 a.m., borough police were dispatched to West Main St. for a motor vehicle accident. The accident was reported by a citizen that witnessed the event. According to reports, a moving, dark vehicle struck a dark blue Chevy Blazer that was parked in front of 37 West Main St., and then fled the scene. A known suspect has been identified and charges are pending further investigation.
Assault. On May 8, at approx. 4:15 p.m., borough police were called to Youngsville Treatment Center for a juvenile who was fighting with staff members. Charges are being filed with Judge Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Correction. Warren City Police have issued a correction. Marie Perry, 82, of Warren, was cited for following too closely after a two-vehicle accident occurred May 5 at the intersection of Penna. Ave. and Central. Not Alice Albaugh as previously reported.
Eldred Twp.
Burglary. Warren-based state police report sometime between March 1 and May 13, someone forcefully gained entry to a camp on Mickle Hill Rd. belonging to Alan McCombs of Willoughby, Ohio. Property damage is estimated at $75. Stolen property will be determined at a later date.
Glade Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police report on May 13 between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 3:05 p.m., someone backed into a legally parked 2011 Kia Sorento. The vehicle suffered damage to the hood and and along the entire passenger side. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.

Criminal Trespass. Warren-based state police report on May 14 at 3:44 p.m., a 19 year-old male entered the Six Mile Rd., Tiona home of a 42 year-old female without permission and refused to leave.

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police report between the dates of May 13 and May 15, someone entered the backyard of a SR27 residence in Pittsfield and damaged the swimming pool. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.
Pine Grove Twp.
Burglary/Criminal Trespass. Warren-based state police report sometime between May 4 and May 8, someone gained entry to a Priest Hollow Rd. camp by smashing a rear window. Once inside, actors stole power tools and laminate wood flooring. Property damage is estimated at $45 and stolen property is valued at $1,625. The investigation continues.
Southwest Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police report on May 13 at 9:25 p.m. a crash occurred on Tidioute Enterprise Rd. north of Pineville Rd. According to the police report, David Craig, 41 of Tidioute, was coming out of a left hand curve when he lost control, traveled back across both lanes, spun clounterclockwise, left the north edge of the roadway, and hit a tree. The vehicle came to rest facing west and the driver was uninjured in the crash. Craig was charged with DUI and other traffic violations with District Magistrate Cynthia Lindemuth.

Statutory sexual assault. City of Warren police reported that on May 14 James Hart, 20, Erie, was charged with statutory sexual assault, interference with custody of children and corruption of minors following an investigation. He was arraigned before District Justice Glenn Carlson and was released on $50,000 unsecured bond.
Conewango Twp.
Bad check. Conewango Township police reported that on April 24 Philip Spencer Sr. issued a bad check to the North Warren Municipal Authority in the amount of $250. Spencer failed to respond to the notice and was charged by the Conewango Police Department for a misdemeanor count of bad check.
Mead Twp.
Criminal trespass. Warren-based state police reported that on May 14 at 3:44 p.m. a known 19-year-old male, Tiona, entered the residence of a known 42-year-old female, also of Tiona, without permission and refused to leave.

Warren City Police reported the following recent incidents:
Drug Possession. On May 1, Colby Neel, 28, Warren, was charged with drug possession following a traffic stop.
Underage Drinking. Jamie Lee, 18, Warren, and Warren and Scott Saporito, 18, Warren, were cited for underage drinking after officers were called to a residence for a report that someone was passed out on the porch.
Accidents. On April 22, Christopher Hoffman, 19, Warren, was cited for accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property, following an investigation into a report that street signs had been purposely run down.
Leaving Unattended Child. On April 29, Heather Anderson, 25, Warren, was cited for leaving an unattended child in a motor vehicle, following an investigation.
Retail Theft. On May 10, Bobbie Rae Lemay, 19, Warren, was cited for retail theft after she allegedly removed $12.28 work of merchandise from Bilo without paying for it.
Simple Assault. On April 28, Zakary Alcorn, 22, Warren, was charged with simple assault following an incident that occurred at the Warren County Jail, where he allegedly assaulted another inmate.
Harassment. On May 4, Samual Borland, Jr., 37, Warren, and Kimberly Tomassoni, were cited for harassment after they allegedly assaulted two victims in a local establishment.
Curfew Violation. On May 3, Tracy Funkhouser, 39, Sugar Grove, was cited with a City Ordinance, curfew violation, after her underage was found to be violating the City of Warren’s curfew ordinance for the third time.
Underage Drinking. On April 29, Austin Deivert, 18, Warren, was cited for underage drinking after officers encountered him while walking home and could detect an odor of alcohol about him.
Harassment. On April 29, Casey Janson, 20, Warren, and Warren & Joseph Thompson, 26, Warren, were cited for Harassment following a physical domestic dispute at their residence.
DUI. On May 3, Michael Glotz, 63, Warren, was charged with DUI, DUI .16% or higher, and careless driving, following a report of careless driving.
PA State Constables reported:
Disorderly Conduct. At 9:45 a.m. on May 14, Robert Craig Thomas, 26, 102 6th Ave., Warren, was arrested on a bench warrant for disorderly conduct-unreasonable, and taken before Magistrate Carlson, and was released pending further court action.
Disorderly Conduct. At 10:15 a.m. on May 14, Brian J. Irwin, 22, Pennsylvania Ave. West, Warren, was arrested on a bench warrant for disorderly conduct, hazardous physical offense, and taken before Magistrate Lindemuth and remanded to Warren County Jail.
Pine Grove Twp.
Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between 6 p.m. on May 4 and 8 p.m. on May 13, a white house belonging to Emily Steves, 30, on the north side of Perkins Ln., at its intersection with Cottage Pl., a burglary occurred, when an unknown person(s) entered into an unlocked garage and stole a 50cc yellow and black four-wheeler, unknown make and model. Clarendon Boro.
Fraud. Warren-based state police reported that at various times between April 29 and May 12, ongoing access device fraud was reported by Sheila J. Anderson, 52, Clarendon, when Jeremy L. Anderson, 29, Clarendon, stole the victim’s debit bank card and made several unauthorized ATM withdrawals totaling $903.50. After a brief investigation, the accused was taken into custody at approximately 5 p.m. on May 13 at his residence in Clarendon, without incident. The accused was arraigned before Magistrate District Justice Bauer on 8 counts of F3 access device fraud, and was remanded to Warren County Jail on $25,000 bail, with a preliminary hearing set for later this month.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between 11:30 a.m. on May 12 and 4 p.m. on May 13, a theft occurred when an unknown person stole a hot water heater valued at $400 from Robert J. Anderson, 31, Clarendon. Anyone with information is asked to call Warren PSP or Crime Stoppers.
Youngsville Boro.
Hit and Run. Youngsville Police Dept. reported that at approximately 7 p.m. on May 11, they were dispatched to a hit and run at 217 W. Main St. The caller stated that his blue Ford Ranger sustained severe to moderate damage when a red Ford Windstar van backed across W. Main and struck the driver’s side of the truck. The police have done an investigation and found that the offender is a known juvenile. Charges are being filed at Judge Lindemuth’s office.
Conewango Twp.
Theft by Unlawful Taking. Conewango Twp. Police were contacted on April 16 at 8:59 p.m. by the owner of Kinzua Auction located in Warren Mall. The owner stated someone had taken a Vintage Gumby Doll from the auction. During a police investigation and review of videotapes from the auction, police found Steven Germonto obtained and concealed the Gumby Doll without first paying for the item. Germonto is being charged with one count misdemeanor theft by unlawful taking, one count conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking and one count receiving stolen property. Danielle Vargas was located next to Germanto as he concealed the Gumby Doll. Vargas is being charged with one count misdemeanor conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking and one count conspiracy to commit receiving stolen property. All charges have been filed with District Magistrate Laura Bauer pending further court action.
Harassment. Conewango Twp. Police were contacted on May 9 at 7:00 p.m. by Cindy Pepper of Jackson Run Rd. for a report of a domestic situation. According to police, Pepper’s 14 year-old grandson grabbed a hold of her hand causing injury and also shoved her. Police will be charging the juvenile with one count summary harassment with District Magistrate Laura Bauer.
Traffic Violation/DUI. Warren-based state police were called to Wal-mart on May 12 at 10:50 a.m. for a crash in the parking lot. Upon arrival, police determined the Sandra Glotz, 48 of Russell, drove into the front of a parked vehicle. After making contact with the accused, police found Glotz to be under the influence of alcohol. There was no reported damage due to the contact between the two vehicles. DUI charges are pending in this investigation with District Magistrate Laura Bauer.
Limestone Twp.
DUI. Warren-based state police stopped Clifford Reese, 47 of Endeavor, on May 11 at 11:26 p.m. after he committed several traffic violations near the Warren/Forest County line. Reese was subsequently arrested for DUI.
Mead Twp.
Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police were called to the residence of Marcia Spear, 76 of Clarendon, for an incident involving a damaged window. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at 814-728-3600.
Pleasant Twp.
Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police report between May 5 and May 6, someone intentionally backed a vehicle into the public restroom at Chapman State Dam causing damage estimated at $102.00. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.
Pittsfield Twp.
Theft. Warren- based state police report between April 13 and May 8, someone took a 12-foot, flat-bottom, jon boat with hand-painted camouflage from an area near Andrews Run Creek without the consent of the owner, Joseph Lindstrom of Pittsfield. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers. A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the parties involved in the theft.
Warren County.
Statutory Sexual Assault. Warren-based state police are investigating a report of a sexual assault that occurred between April 5 and April 13 in a wooded area behind Blair Service. According to the police report, Allen Burnett, 20 of Warren is charged with having sexual relations with the known 13-year-old juvenile female. Charges include statutory sexual assault (F), involuntary deviate sexual intercourse (F), aggravated indecent assault (F), and corruption of minors (F). Burnett was arraigned before District Magistrate Lindemuth and committed to the Warren County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. The incident is currently still under investigation and further court action is pending.

Glade Twp.
Aggravated Assault/Terroristic Threats/Simple Assault. Warren-based state police responded to the Warren Area High School lower parking lot on May 9 at 3:33 p.m. for a reported emergency situation involving a fully loaded school bus (K-12 graders). According to the police report, a nine year-old female from Warren was told several times by the bus driver to sit in her assigned seat but refused. This same student was then encountered by a 17 year-old female from Warren to moved to her assigned seat so the bus could leave. The nine year-old refused to move and pulled a pair of pointed scissors and proceeded to point them at and threaten the 17 year-old with physical harm. The investigation continues. Officers were assisted on scene by Warren City Police Officers.
Simple Assault. Warren-based state police responded to Garden Lane on May 9 at 8:35 p.m. for a simple assault. According to police, Robert Nelson and John Jarjabka Jr., both of Warren, went to the trailer where John Crowl III was staying and assaulted him. The incident occurred because a third party told the two accused individuals Crowl has struck her in the face. Charges are to filed in District Magistrate Bauer’s Office.
Pine Grove Twp.
Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police report an unknown individual put a screw into the side wall of a tire on a vehicle belonging to a Fox Hill Rd. resident. Youngsville
Retail Theft. Youngsville Police are investigating a retail theft that occurred at approx. 7 p.m. on May 2 at the Kwik Fill in the Borough of Youngsville. The police have identified a known suspect and charges are pending further investigation.

Pittsfield Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police report on May 7 at 11:10 a.m. a two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Route 6 and Route 27. According to police, the accident occurred as Dennis Weaver, 64, Meadville, was stopped at the intersection waiting to merge. Police said Frank Nichols, 65, Spartansburg, struck the rear of Weaver’s vehicle after Weaver made a second stop before entering traffic. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and no one was injured. Weaver’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
Sheffield
Disorderly conduct. Warren-based state police were called to Sheffield Area High School on April 18 at approximtely 12:15 p.m. According to police, a 17-year- old female created a risk of public alarm by engaging in tumultuous behavior. Police said she will be cited for disorderly conduct before District Justice Glenn Carlson.

Arrested. Pennsylvania State Constables arrested Alicia Jeanette Polley-Viator, 37, 2867 Cobham Park Rd., on May 6 for failure to respond to a bench warrant. Charges on the warrant include driving without license, insurance, inspection and registration. She was taken before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson; release is pending further court actin.
Columbus Twp.
Arrest. Corry-based state police reported that on May 8 at 10 a.m. an arrest was made in conjunction with an arrest warrant that had been issued by the Roxbury Township Police Department in New Jersey. Police said Joe Paszkowski, 64, Columbus Township, was charged with one count of arrest prior to requisition and will be extradited back to New Jersey to face undisclosed criminal charges. Paszkowski had a preliminary hearing before District Justice Glenn Carlson and was committed to the Warren County Jail.
Conewango Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that at 3:04 p.m. on May 3 at Wal-Mart, Christie A. Eddie, 40, and William R. Finch, 36, both of Jamestown, N.Y., were apprehended with approximately $1,400 in merchandise. They were taken into custody and charges were filed.
Glade Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a crash at 7:15 p.m. on May 6 on Hatch Run Road. According to police, Shellee L. Irwin, 43, Warren, was westbound on Hatch Run Road in a 2009 Honda CRV, following a 2002 Dodge Dakota operated by Jonathan T. Fitzgerald, 48, Warren. Police said as Fitzgerald attempted to turn right into the Hatch Run Conservatory, Irwin’s vehicle struck the rear of his vehicle, causing it to be pushed approximately 25 feet into the Conservatory’s parking lot. No injuries were reported. Police said Irwin was charged with following too closely through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
Mead Twp.
Arrested. Pennsylvania State Constables Office arrested Matthew M. Gathers, 25, 250 School St., Tiona, at 9:30 a.m. May 8 on a bench warrant. He had been charged with operating vehicle without insurance and driving an unregistered vehicle. He was taken before District Justice Glenn Carlson, paid fines and costs and was released.
Retaliation. Warren-based state police reported that at 10:30 p.m. on April 19, Bethany L. Christensen, 28, Sugar Grove, was charged with retaliation against witness, victim or party. Police said the victim is a known 18-year-old of Sugar Grove. The charge was filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between 12:01 a.m. on Nov. 6, 2012 and noon on May 7 in the area of Pleasant Street someone made unlawful entry into a known 71-year-old man’s residence and garage. Several firearms, along with other items with a total estimated value of $10,000 were taken. Anyone with information is asked to call the Warren State Police or Crime Stoppers.
Clarendon
Crash. Warren-based state police reported that between 8:30 p.m. on May 5 and 7:15 a.m. on May 6, on Route 6 at its intersection with Railroad Street, a crash occurred when an unknown vehicle left the western berm of Route 6 and struck a traffic sign and a plastic 55-gallon drum. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police.

Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to a report of harassment at the Warren State Hospital at 12:40 a.m. on May 6. According to police, Justina Robison, 31, Warren, kicked Rachel Johnson, 27, Jamestown, N.Y., in the arm/bicep while Johnson was attempting to administer medical treatment. Charges were filed against Robison at District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
Glade Twp.
Underage drinking. Warren-based state police responded to a report of an underage drinking party on Lease Road off Cobham Park Road on May 5 at 1:18 a.m. Upon arrival, Ryan Feilder, 18, Clarendon, and Kevin VanOrd, 19, Warren, were found to have been consuming alcoholic beverages. Police said both will receive a non-traffic citation for underage drinking. Charges will be file through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Theft. Warren-based state police responded to a report of a bicycle theft that occurred on May 3 between midnight and 5 p.m. According to police, a green Mongoose BMX bicycle with green or silver pegs, a speedometer, and a broken rear brake lever was taken from the front yard of the residence along Roue 6. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.
Pittsfield Twp.
Theft of a motor vehicle. Warren-based state police responded to a report of a stolen red/white Honda 70R mini-bike valued at $500 from the back porch of Chrystal Wolcott’s residence. According to reports, the theft occurred between 4 p.m. April 30 and 10 a.m. May 1. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crimestoppers.
Tidioute
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Elm Street just north of Main Street on May 4 at 5:45 a.m. According to police, the crash occurred as Ricky Herron, 46, Brownstone Township, Mich., was traveling south on Elm Street. Herron reportedly veered off the right shoulder of the road and traveled into the front yard of 9 Elm St., struck the newspaper box in front of 5 Elm St. and came to rest against the porch rail of the business located at 3 Elm St. Tidioute volunteer firefighters and EMS responded to the scene and found the driver to be asleep at the wheel and apparently un-injured. Police said Herron was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently apprehended. Police said DUI and summary charges are to be filed at District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 6, west of Mead Run Road, at 9:28 a.m. Sunday. According to police, a 2010 Ford Fusion operated by Jessica Johnson, 30, Sugar Grove, pulled from a parking lot into the path of a 1999 Ford Explorer operated by Albert Gentile, 85, Youngsville. Police said both operators were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Johnson was charged with vehicle entering roadway.

Harassment. Warren-based state police were called to Warren State Hospital for a reported harassment incident at 5:50 a.m. Sunday. According to police, Justina Robison, 31, Warren, struck Mark Labesky, 48, Kane, in the face. Police said Robison was cited for harassment and will answer the charge before District Justice Laura Bauer.
Harassment. Warren-based state police were called to Warren State Hospital for a reported harassment incident at 6:30 p.m. May 4. According to police, Justina Robison, 31, Warren, bit a 49-year-old female of Warren on the left wrist causing cuts and marks. Police said a harassment charge against Robison has been filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
Limestone Twp.
Hit and run. Warren-based state police said a southbound vehicle, operated by an unknown driver, went off Route 62 at Log Cabin Lane between midnight and 6:30 a.m. May 3, struck a street sign and then a mailbox. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.
Mead Twp.
Charged. Warren-based state police said Lawrence Devereaux, 48, was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop at 5:15 p.m. Saturday on Route 6 and its intersection with Morrison Run Road. According to police, after Devereaux was arrested for DUI officers found a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on him. Police said Devereaux was charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, DUI and other traffic violations.
Harassment. Warren-based state police said a 15-year-old juvenile male was charged with harassment following an incident at Allegheny Valley Elementary School’s parking lot at 8 p.m. May 1. According to police, the 15-year-old juvenile grabbed a nine-year-old juvenile male by the neck and threw him to the ground. Police said a charge of harassment was filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
Pine Grove Twp.
Theft. A 51-year-old male and a 51-year-old female, both of Norris Drive, Russell, reported to Warren-based state police that someone used their joint credit card to make an unauthorized purchase online at 12:30 p.m. May 3.
Southwest Twp.
Theft. A 59-year-old male from Pleasant Township reported to Warren-based state police that between midnight and noon on April 30 someone took a six-inch round by 15-feet long steel casing from a driveway on Pineville Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.
Spring Creek Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a motorcycle crash in which two people were injured at 12:50 p.m. Sunday on Old Route 77 at Beck Road. According to police, David Reagle, 59, Bear Lake, lost control while negotiating a right-hand curve. Police said he was transported by medical helicopter to an Erie hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. His passenger, Virginia Brown, 47, Youngsville, was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The state police were assisted at the scene by Spring Creek volunteer firefighters and Corry Ambulance.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police are seeking a person, described as approximately 5’7″ and wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans and a black hat, who was seen running from a fire that was set near a driveway on Sanity Lane at approximately 10:20 p.m. on May 2. Police said fires were also set at 3:04 and 3:30 p.m. the same day. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Warrant arrest. On May 2, Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department with assistance from the Conewango Twp. Police Dept., arrested Justin Constable, 40, of Warren, on charges of violation of probation. Constable, who was originally placed on Immediate Punishment on the charge of DUI (M1) 2nd Offense, was taken into custody by probation officers on a Supervisor’s Warrant and committed to the Warren County Prison pending further Court action.
Warrant arrest. Mead, who was originally placed on Probation on the charge of Forgery (F2), was taken into custody by probation officers on a Supervisor’s Warrant and committed to the Warren County Prison pending further Court action.
Tidioute
Harassment. Tidioute Police have charged a 15 year old male and a 16 year old male with harassment after a complaint of a physical altercation that took place at the Tidioute Boat Launch was received. Charges were filed at the Office of Magistrate Cynthia Lindemuth.
Mead Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on US 6 at the intersection with Cherry Grove Road on April 30. A 1978 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by William Fiscus, Sheffield, was traveling west and attempting to make a left hand turn from US 6 onto Cherry Grove Road. Fiscus pulled directly into the path of a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by Renee Bloom, Kane, that was traveling eastbound, causing the vehicles to hit head on. Fiscus’ vehicle spun counter-clockwise, coming to final rest on the roadway. Bloom’s vehicle continued east, crossed the travel lanes and struck an embankment. The occupants of both vehicles, including a 15-year-old female and a 13-year-old male in Bloom’s vehicle, sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by PennMark. Clarendon VFD assisted at the scene.

Parole violation. On April 11, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Richard Madigan, 22, Clarendon, on charges of violation of parole and probation. The defendant, who was originally placed on parole on charges of corruption of minors, was arrested on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Warrant issued. On May 1, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with assistance from the Conewango Township Police Department and the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, arrested David Delattre, 47, Warren, on charges of violation of probation. Delattre, who was originally placed on probation for contempt of court by violating a Protection From Abuse order, was taken into custody by probation officers on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Conewango Twp.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report between 3:30 p.m. April 30 and 6:30 a.m. May 1, someone pried open an electrical box and shut off the breakers for hot oil tanks at PennDOT’s main shed. Police said the shut-off caused the oil to cool to a temperature that would not allow it to be used without a significant reheating time.
Farmington Twp.
DUI. On April 28 at 1:33 a.m., Warren-based state police stopped David Hitchcock, 53, Russell, on Route 957 in Lander for traffic violations. Police said they found Hitchcock to be under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with DUI and summary traffic violations.

Conewango Twp.
Bad checks. Conewango Township police reported that on April 7 they received a complaint from Kirk Foust that Linda J. Hinton, Sugar Grove, wrote a bad check to him for the amount of $250 that came back not sufficient funds. Hinton was sent a notice of the bad check and she failed to make good on it. Hinton was charged with one count misdemeanor bad checks. Charges have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer.
Retail theft. Conewango Township police reported that on April 25 at 9:33 p.m. police were dispatched to a report of retail theft at Wal Mart. Wal Mart Loss Prevention stated that Kelly D. Wadsworth, Warren, took possession of merchandise, placed it in her purse and attempted to elave the store without paying for the items. Loss Prevention personnel attempted to stop Wadsworth as she was leaving the store. Wadsworth then allegedly ran out of the exit, throwing some merchandise on the ground as she left. During a police investigation, it was determined that Wadsworth took possession of $170.92 worth of merchandise before she exited the store. She has been charged with one count of misdemeanor retail theft and charges have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer.

Limestone Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between March 29 and April 29 someone took a 1994 Johnson 35 HP Jet boat motor off of a boat located in a driveway of a residence located on Kirkpatrick Farm Lane. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.
Youngsville
Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on April 29 at 6:30 p.m. Amanda Whitford, Youngsville, allegedly slapped a known 43-year-old female in the face during an argument. She was cited for harassment and charges were filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.
