Charged. Nicholas Dale, 22, Youngsville, has been charged with a prohibited offensive weapon after a Youngsville police officer came into contact with him during a theft investigation. According to Youngsville Police, a concealed switch blade type of knife was found on Dale, and was confiscated. The charge was filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Public drunkenness. WarrenCity Police cited Amber Haight, 25, Sheffield, on July 28 for public drunkenness after officers were investigating three people acting suspiciously near a vacant building.
Public drunkenness. Warren City Police cited Stephanie Sweet, 30, Warren, for public drunkenness on July 27 after officers came across a suspicious vehicle and finding her in a highly intoxicated state.
Disorderly conduct. Warren City Police charged three juvenile males with criminal attempt, loitering and prowling at night, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief after officers responded to a report that they had been terrorizing a resident of an apartment building on several occasions. They have been referred to Juvenile Court, according to police.
Charged. Warren Ctiy Police charged Deborah Streich, 51, Warren, with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after her purse was turned into the police department and was found to be containing illegal substances, according to police.
Pleasant Twp.
Harassment. Warren-based state police said on July 28 at Wilderness Park a verbal argument between two people progressed into a physical altercation. Police said another person then entered into a physical altercation. Charges of harassment were filed through District Justice Glenn Carlson’s office according to police.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Theft. Janet Flasher, Sugar Grove, reported to Warren-based state police that she caught Neil Ross, Sugar Grove, and Jeremy Burger, Union City, taking scrap metal from her property in the 800 block of Deer Run Road at 3:41 p.m. Monday. Police said Ross was taken into custody and placed in the Warren County Jail on a detainer from Erie County Adult Probation. Police said Ross and Burger are being charged with theft and receiving stolen property.

Brokenstraw Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Matthews Run Road, north of Murray Hill Road, on July 24 at 12:10 p.m. According to police, Arlene Sailar, 68, Warren, was traveling east on Matthews Run Road when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a culvert. The vehicle continued to travel 200 feet and came to rest in a ditch. The vehicle suffered disabling front-end damage and was towed from the scene. Polie said Sailar was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured in the accident. She was cited for roadways laned for traffic.
Cherry Grove
Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Forestry Route 256, south of Austin Road, on July 24 at 3:30 p.m. According to police, Kenneth Seyler, 20, Sheffield, was traveling south when he lost control after hitting the brakes to avoid a deer. The vehicle slid counter-clockwise before going over an embankment and overturning. Seyler was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. Seyler’s 16-year-old male passenger was also wearing a seatbelt, but was transported to Kane Community Hospital by a family member. Police said Seyler was charged with driving vehicle at safe speed.

Twp.
Burglary. Conewango Township Police were dispatched to a commercial building owned by Brink Transportation for a burglary on July 7 at 6:23 p.m. According to police, Brink stated he noticed a man door open on the east side of the building on July 6, but did not notice anything missing until the next day when he returned. Missing is a blue 10-speed hybrid-style bike valued at $150. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police at 726-0725 or Crimestoppers.
Columbus Twp.
Criminal mischief. Corry-based state police report between 5 p.m July 26 and 7:45 a.m. July 27, someone smashed out a rear passenger window of a truck belonging to Kathleen Christiansen, 65, Corry. Damage is estimated at $300. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Corry state police.
Pine Grove Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police report between Oct. 25, 2012 and July 17, 2013, someone took the license plate off a vehicle belonging to John Aldrich, 60, Warren. The vehicle was located at North Auto Crushers. Anyone with information should contact the state police.
Clarendon
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle crash on S. Main Street on July 27 at 2:10 a.m. According to police, the driver of a 1998 Ford Contour SVT sedan failed to negotiate a right curve, crossed the center line, swerved back and struck a utility pole, shearing it off. The vehicle continue to travel, spinning clockwise into the residence at 312 S. Main St. Police said the occupants of the vehicle fled the scene on foot west on Route 6. The investigation into the incident continues. The occupants of the residence were unharmed. Police were assisted at the scene by Clarendon volunteer firefighters, Warren County Sheriff’s depuies and Penelec.

Harassment. On July 25 at 10 a.m., Pennsylvania State Constables acted on a bench warrant issue for Vera E. James, 47, of Railroad Street in Clarendon. The charge listed on the warrant was harassment with physical contact. James was arrested in Clarendon, taken before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson, and released pending further court action.
Conewango Twp.
Property Damage. On July 24 at 10:50 a.m., a flatbed tractor trailer, possibly green in color, was traveling westbound on Rt. 6, when at the intersection with Yankee Bush Rd., the semi knocked down the support cable to the traffic lights on the east side of the intersection causing damage. Crash. Warren-based police said on July 23, at 10:30 am. Taylor Plaskett, Randolph, N.Y., was operating a 2007 Mitsubishi sedan , traveling westbound attempting to turn south onto Yankee Bush Road when she turned into the path of Robert McKee, Warren, who was traveling east on Route 6 in a 1995 Ford truck. Both vehicles sustained heavy front end damage. According to police both occupants were treated at the scene by Youngsville FD, Starbrick FD and Emergycare for complaints of pain. Plaskett has been cited for vehicles turning left.
Retail Theft. Warren-based police said on July 23, at 1:20 pm. Walmart Loss Prevention observed Carolyn Dickson, Warren, conceal $35 worth of merchandise into a shopping bag and attempt to leave the store without paying for the merchandise. Charges have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s Office.
Crash. Warren-based police said on July 11, 6:54 am. officers were dispatched to Jackson Run Road for a motor vehicle accident. Briyon Edling, Warren, was traveling eastbound on Jackson Run and rear-ended an Amish Buggy carrying 3 people. All three people were injured and transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of injuries of different degrees. Several traffic citations have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s Office according to police. North Warren Volunteer Fire Department and Emergycare assisted at the scene.
Columbus Twp.
Indecent Exposure. Warren-based police said on July 18, at 11:00 pm. Vincent Jay Puckley, 46, Columbus, was accused of exposing himself to several people in the area. Puckley was intoxicated and disrobed in the view of the public, according to police. Charges were filed in the District Court according to police.
Youngsville
Firearms Violation. Bradley Dale, 19, Youngsville, was taken into custody by Youngsville police after they responded to the Dollar General Store for a retail theft in progress on July 18, at 6 pm. When an officer approached Dale in the parking lot, he became agitated and attempted to break free from the officer, police said. When he was taken into custody police recovered a stolen, concealed and loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun, three magazines with 29 rounds of ammunition from his person, police said. He also had a drug paraphernalia and several stolen items from the Dollar General, police said. He was arraigned before District Judge Laura Bauer for firearms not to be carried without a license, resisting arrest, retail theft and drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Warren County Jail with bail set at $5,000.
Retail Theft. Nicholas Dale, 22, Youngsville, was taken into custody on July 18, at 6 pm. for retail theft. He entered the Dollar General Store and stole two bottles of Vaseline lotion and two packs of lip balm. He was given a nontraffic citation by Youngsville police and later released. Youngsville Police were assisted by the PA State Police.

Clarendon
Theft. Warren-based state police report investigating an incident of theft which occurred between Jan. 5 and 6, between Jones St., Clarendon, and Meadville Rd., Titusville. According to police, two known, 17-year-old, male juveniles, both of Titusville, stole a 2002 Buick sedan belonging to David W. Shambaugh from Titusville and drove it to Clarendon to visit a known, 17-year-old, male juvenile. Once in Clarendon, the three juveniles stole a 2005 Chrysler mini-van belonging to Paul L. Brink and the two Titusville juveniles returned to Titusville in it, leaving the Clarendon juvenile to dispose of the Buick sedan.
Both vehicles were later recovered by police.
Charges against the juveniles were filed with Warren County Juvenile Probation.

Glade Twp.
Criminal trespass. Warren-based state police reported that they are investigating a criminal trespass on Woodberry Lane on July 16 at approximately 9:37 p.m. According to police, Brandon S. Hartman was told several times by Sonya English to leave the property, but Hartman continued to stay. Hartman was cited for criminal trespass through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
Pleasant Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Crescent Park, two-tenths of a mile east of Mohawk Avenue, on July 16 at 4:35 p.m. According to police, a 2002 Suzuki Esteem driven by Anthony Russell, Warren, was traveling on Route 6 before crossing over the center line of the roadway and striking a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche on the side. Russell continued west in the eastbound lane, striking the concrete embankment, coming to rest facing west. The other vehicle, whose driver was not identified by police, moved over as far as possible before Russell’s vehicle struck it. No one was injured in the crash. Police were assisted at the scene by Pleasant fire police for traffic control. Police said Russell was cited for driving within a single lane.

PFA violation. Corry-based state police said that at 8:30 a.m. on July 16 Sandra Spelling, Bear Lake, reported a PFA violation. According to police, Charles Peterson, Bear Lake, was placed in Warren County Jail in lieu of $50,000 straight cash bond for violation of the PFA.

DUI. On Saturday, July 6, Youngsville Borough Police received a call about a vehicle without headlights heading east on Route 6, at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the rain. Police said the vehicle was eventually stopped on E. Main Street and the driver, Merle Nosker, Warren, was found to be highly intoxicated. He was placed under arrest for driving under the influence; charges have been filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.
DUI. Steven Rutherford, Warren, was arrested at approximately 1 a.m. on July 12 after he was observed exiting Youngsville Cemetery after hours. After stopping the vehicle, Youngsville Police said they found Rutherford to be intoxicated. Rutherford was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, and charges are being filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Cited. City of Warren police cited Blaine Gunn, 50, Warren, on June 20 for violations of the unlawful to allow dogs to run at large ordinance following a third violation.
Accident. City of Warren police cited Joan Ragon, 86, Oil City, for failure to observe stop signs and yield signs following a two-car-accident at Liberty Street and Fifth Avenue on June 20.
Theft of mislaid property. City of Warren police charged Kenneth Hadden, 18, Warren, with theft of mislaid property and receiving stolen property on June 20 after being found with a stolen bicycle.
Simple assault. City of Warren police charged Erich Cox, 19, Warren, with simple assault after officers received a report of a domestic dispute on June 22.
Criminal mischief. City of Warren police charged Seth Clark, 21, Warren, with criminal mischief on June 24 following an investigation where a vehicle was vandalized causing over $1,000 damage. Clark was placed in Warren County Jail for probation violations.

Theft. Warren-based state police were called to a cell tower work site near Weaver St. for a theft that took place sometime between July 5 and July 12. According to the police report, someone unlawfully cut the lock off a gate at the above location to gain entry to the site run by General Dynamics, of Dewitt, NY. Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to the Warren State Hospital on July 15 at 3 a.m. after Justina Robison, 31 of Warren, punched a victim in the neck and a second victim in the ribs. The accused was charged with two counts of harassment. The charges were filed through District Magistrate Bauer’s office.
Pine Grove Twp.
Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police responded to a call from Rae Anne Fischer, 66, of Townline Rd., after the victim’s mailbox was smashed with a blunt object by an unknown person. The incident occurred on July 12 between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police in Warren or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

ACT 64/Crash. On July 14, at approx. 2:25 p.m., Warren-based state police were dispatched to the scene of a crash involving Shelley N. Kagle, 54. According to police, Kagle was traveling south on SR 127 just south of Tidioute Boro, when she lost control of her vehicle. It went onto the southbound berm and began to slide counterclockwise. Kagle attempted to regain control and went into the northbound lane before traveling back into the southbound lane and into the woods. Once in the woods, police say the vehicle hit a dirt embankment and brush before going down two 15 foot drop-offs. The vehicle then traveled through some more brush before rolling over upside down into the creek where it came to rest. The crash is still being investigated. During the course of the investigation, police say a small amount of marijuana was discovered in a pill bottle belonging to Kagle. Kagle was transported to Hamot Medical Center in Erie for treatment of moderate injuries by STAT Medivac. Tidioute Volunteer Fire and Ambulance assisted state police at the scene. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Koebley’s Towing.
Youngsville
Theft. Youngsville Police report an unknown person(s) enter St. Luke’s Church while it was unlocked between April and May 2013 and stole several gift wrapped items worth over $300. The gifts were giveaway prizes for bingo. Anyone with information is asked to contact Youngsville Police at 563-7555.

‘Phishing’. Warren-based state police are warning citizens of a recent “phishing” scams in Pennsylvania. Residents have received calls from a company that warns of computer viruses and the caller asks for remote access to computers to fix the “problem”. Other callers tell people that a warrant has been issued for their arrest and they must send bail money. Police said “phishing” is an attempt to access personal or financial information, through electronic communication, while posing as a legitimate or trustworthy entity. Police urged residents to never give personal information during unsolicited telephone, text or online communications.
Youngsville
Cited. Warren based-police were called to a false alarm at the PNC Bank, E. Main Street at 7:51 a.m. on July 12. Police said it was the fifth response in a 12-month period. Police said PNC Bank was cited through Disrtrict Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office for control of alarm devices/automatic dialing.

Public Drunkeness. Warren state police said on July 12, Charles Stewart, 30, Waterford, was found on Hosmer Run Rd. highly intoxicated. He alarmed a victim causing them to contact Warren Police. Upon police arrival Stewart was cited for Public Drunkeness. The charge was filed through District judge Lindemuth’s office.

Simple Assault. Warren-based state police responded to the Creek Lane residence of Amber Pascuzzi, 35, on July 3 at approximately 10:15 p.m. According to police, Jeffrey Pascuzzi was at the residence after being advised of trespassing by Amber Pascuzzi. He then assaulted Jameson Wood, 22, of Clarendon and caused a disturbance to neighbors. The accused will face charges of Simple Assault, Criminal Trespass, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct before District Magistrate Laura Bauer.

Theft. Warren-based state police report an unknown actor stole firewood from a camp off Farnsworth Rd. sometime between July 7 and July 10. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police – Warren or Crime Stoppers.
Sugar Grove
Theft/Forgery. Warren-based state police report Colton Parker, 22, of Sugar Grove, is accused of stealing multiple checks from several individuals between Dec. 26, 2012 and June 18, 2013. The accused proceeded to forge the victims’ names on the checks and cash them for his own personal use. The total stolen from the victims’ accounts is estimated to be $1,295. On July 7, an Arrest Warrant was obtained and the accused was taken into custody on that warrant. The accused was arraigned before District Magistrate Laura Bauer for charges of Theft and Forgery and place in the Warren County Jail on $25,000 bond.

Simple Assault. Warren-based state police said on July 8, at 8:30 p.m. two people entered a verbal argument which progressed into a physical altercation at a residence located on Hemlock Road. The victim received minor injuries and was treated at Warren General Hospital, according to police.

Harassment. Tidioute Borough Police reported Dustin Ecker, 18, of 268 Main St. Tidioute, is being charged with harassment after he subjected himself to physical contact with a 19-year-old female and a 14-year-old male at 4:30 p.m. on July 9 at two different locations.
Harrassment. Zachery Rounds, 20, of 235 Main St. is being charged with disorderly conduct from incidents that occurred at 268 Main St. and the Tidioute boat launch area when he created a offensive condition that served no legitimate purpose on July 9 according to the Tidioute Borough Police.

Parole Violation. On July 8, Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department with the assistance from the Warren City Police Department, arrested Steven Wedge, 26, of Warren on charges of violation of Parole. Warren police officers reported to the probation department that officers made contact with Wedge shortly after 2:00 a. while responding to a complaint from a property owner of Water St. Upon arrival, Wedge who was highly intoxicated, found completely nude, rolling on the ground vomiting. Wedge, was placed on a charge of DUI, and was arrested by Probation Officers on a Supervisor’s Warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further Court action.

Warrant Arrest. Warren County Sheriffs Deputies and the US Forest Service Law Enforcement arrested Amber Albaugh, 26 of Warren, on July 6 at about 7:40 p.m. on Hemlock Rd. Albaugh was arrested on a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for her Preliminary Hearing issued by Warren County Court of Common Pleas and three Bench Warrants issued by District Judge Laura Bauer. Albaugh was placed in the Warren County jail pending further court action.
Conewango Twp.
Hit and Run. On July 4 at 10:40 p.m., Conewango Twp. Police report John Leubbert was traveling west on Rt. 6, when someone struck his vehicle at the rear. The driver of a red Toyota Tacoma then left the scene without giving any information to Leubbert. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Conewango Twp. Police.
Bad Check. Conewango Twp Police report on July 4, they received a complaint from Warren Midtown Motors that stated a Bad Check was received from Rachel L. Wright, Smethport, in the amount of $500. A certified letter was sent to Wright and she failed to make good on said check. Wright is being charged with one count Misdemeanor Bad Check and charges have been filed with District Magistrate Laura Bauer pending further court action.
Harassment. Warren based-state police were called to the Warren State Hospital on July 5 at 4:30 a.m after Marlena Hartman, 21, of Warren was scratched on the wrist and punched in the stomach by Justina Robison, 31, of Warren. The accused was charged with Harassment through District Magistrate Laura Bauer’s office.

Burglary. Corry-based state police responded to a Deadmans Run Rd. residence for a reported burglary that occurred between the hours of 5 p.m. July 4 and 10:30 a.m. July 5. According to police, someone gained entry to the residence and removed four birds, (Jenday Conure, Sun Conure, Goffin Cockatoo, and Umbrella Cockatoo) belonging to Margaret Frangione, of Pittsfield. Theft of a Motor Vehicle. Warren-based state police report on July 5, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., a pick-up truck belonging to Todd Ace, 33, of Sheffield, was stolen from a private driveway near 10978 Rt. 6. The vehicle was parked, unlocked, with the keys inside. The truck is described as a red 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel Truck with a steel rack in the bed, a plastic tool box across the bed, rear window stickers and the bottom portion of the truck trimmed in black, a single-shot 12-gauge H & R shotgun was inside. Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to an incident at a residence on Hall St. on July 4 at 4:16 a.m. According to police, a 39 year-old male and a 33 year-old female became involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation causing minor injury. Charges were filed against both individuals through District Magistrate Glenn Carlson’s office.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle accident at the intersection of Center St. and Brown Ave. at 2:07 a.m. on June 23. According to police, Jason Seybert, 35, of Warren, was traveling west on Center St. and attempting to turn north onto Brown Ave. when he lost control of his 2005 Honda TRX450R. The vehicle rolled onto its right side in the middle of the intersection. Seybert sustained major injuries and was transported to UPMC Hamot in Erie by helicopter. His passenger, Kara Wagner, 28, of Warren was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of her injuries. Neither were wearing seatbelts. Seybert was charged with DUI. Clarendon VFD assisted at the scene.
Farmington Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on July 4 at 7:15 a.m. on Rt. 69 just south of Yankee Bush Rd. According to police, Shawn Bigelow, 43, of Warren, was traveling south on Rt. 69 behind a vehicle driven by Jeffrey Reagle, 42, of Sugar Grove. Police said Reagle slowed down for an Amish buggy traveling in the southbound lane. Bigelow failed to maintain proper speed causing his vehicle to strike the trailer being towed by Reagle. According to reports, Bigelow sustained minor injuries. Reagle and his four passesngers were uninjured in the accident. Everyone was using safety devices. Reagle’s vehicle was towed from the scene by Koebley Towing.

Theft. Youngsville Borough Police Department investigated a theft on July 4, that occurred near the 300 block of East Main Street in Youngsville. The victim stated that Heather Tremblay, 24, Youngsville, got into his vehicle located outside his residence, and took $20 out of his wallet. The victim was able to identify Tremblay as she was getting out of the vehicle. Charges have been filed on Tremblay through District Justice Lindemuth’s office.

Parole violation. On July 3, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Tyler L. Martin, 22, Sugar Grove, on charges of violation of parole. Martin, who was originally placed on parole on the charge of statutory sexual assault, was arrested by probation officers on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail.
Warrant arrest. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Norman C. Kenney, 47, Pittsfield, on July 3 at noon at 1932 Route 27. He was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear for jury selection on the original charge of aggravated assault issued by Warren County Court of Common Pleas. He was placed in the Warren County Prison.
Warrant arrest. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies and City of Warren Police arrested David Bellamy, 34, Warren, on July 3 at 9:53 a.m. at 305 Eddy St. He was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear for jury selection on the original charge of bad checks, issued by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas and a supervisor’s warrant for failure to pay child support issued by Warren County Probation. He was placed in the Warren County Prison.

Possession. On July 3 at 11:16 a.m., Warren-based state police made a traffic stop on E. Main St. involving John Armstrong, 24, Youngsville. Police said they subsequently found him in possession of a small amount of marijuana and a pipe.
Conewango Twp.
Harassment. Warren-based state police were called to Warren State Hospital on July 2 at 12:50 p.m. after Justina Robison, 31, Warren, subjected Nancy Flowers, 51, ,Warren, and Brenda McMillen, 40, Sugar Grove, to physical contact while the victims were attempting to administer medical treatment to another patient. Police said Robison jumped on the back of Flowers and kicked, attempted to bite, and struck McMillen. Charges were filed against the Robison at District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
DUI. Conewango Township Police reported that on June 30 at 2:10 a.m., during a Warren County DUI Enforcement checkpoint, they charged Jarred E. Danielson as he entered the checkpoint and was found to be under the influence. Danielson is being charged with one count misdemeanor DUI: General impairment, DUI: Highest rate, one count summary careless driving and one summary count of restrictions of alcoholic beverages.

DUI. Conewango Township Police reported that on June 29 at 12:37 a.m. police stopped a vehicle for erratic driving that was being driven by Richard K. Dunkle, 4 Kidder St., Warren. Police said they found Dunkle to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Dunkle is being charged with one count misdemeanor DUI: General impairment, one count DUI: Highest rate, one count summary driving on roadways laned for traffic and one count summary restrictions on alcoholic beverages. Charges have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer .

Burglary. Warren-based state police report between June 28 at 9 a.m. and June 30 at 10:30 a.m., someone took a laptop computer from a residence along Fairbanks Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Rape. Warren-based state police reported that between Aug. 1 and 31, 2012, Allen Eugene Bennett, 20, Warren, is alleged to have met a victim, a known 14-year-old female, in the City of Warren, who left the city in a vehicle driven by Bennett. Police said once at a location off of Pleasant Drive, Bennett used physical force to have sexual contact with the victim. Bennett was charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, statutory sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault.

Parole violation. Officers at the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Susan Marie Allen, 49, Warren, on July 1 for violation of parole. Officers said Allen was questioned by her probation officer and admitted that she had ingested “bath salts” earlier in the week. Allen, who was originally placed on parole on the charges of DUI third offense, was arrested by on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Simple assault. Warren-based police charged Timothy Pence, 51, Youngsville, with simple assault on July 1 at 10:40 p.m. on July 1 following an incident at Hog Haven Bar, Mathews Run Rd. According to police, Pence punched a victim in the face during an argument causing a chipped tooth and fat lip. Police said charges of simple assault and harassment were filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth office.

DUI. Conewango Township Police said during a Warren County DUI Enforcement Checkpoint on Market Street charged Brandon E. Towne, Warren, at 2:55 a.m. June 30 with driving under the influence. Police said Towne is being charged with one count of misdemeanor DUI general impairment, DUI high rate, one count summary careless driving and one count summary expired inspection. Charges have been filed at District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Harassment. Warren-based police said they charged Heather Ruby, 24, Warren, and Stehpanie Waterford, 24, Warren, with harassment at 2:35 p.m. June 30. According to police, Ruby and Waterford became involved in a verbal disagreement, repeatedly yelling and confronting one another in a threatening and aggressive manner. Police said charges were filed at District Justice Laura Bauer’s office in North Warren.

DUI. Warren-based state police said Chris F. McAmbley, 70, Warren, was stopped at a traffic safety checkpoint at 8:23 p.m. June 30 and suspected to be under the influence of alcohol. Police said McAmbley was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to their barracks for processing. Police said charges, including two counts of DUI, careless driving, and restraint systems were filed at District Justice Laura Bauer’s office in North Warren.

Burglary. Warren-based state police said between June 24, and July 1, unknown individuals forced their way into the former Pittsfield Elementary School, which is now owned by Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry, and removed electrical wiring. Criminal mischief. Conewango Township Police said sometime between June 30 and July 1, an unknown vehicle driving on Weiler Road went off the roadway striking mailboxes at 235, 344, 432 and 1839 Weiler Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.
Crash. Conewango Township Police said Kevin Apthrop Jr., 20, Warren, was driving a 2005 Jeep Liberty south on Preston Road at 9:15 a.m. July 1 and lost control while negotiating a left curve, causing the vehicle to cross the roadway and strike an embankment. According to police, his vehicle came to rest on the east side of the roadway on the driver’s side and facing southbound. Police said traffic citations have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office. PennDOT assisted on the scene with traffic control. Apthrop’s vehicle was towed from the scene.

Theft. Corry-based state police said someone between June 20 and 28 someone took a 10-foot long 15-inch sluice pipe belonging to Willis M. Koren, 68, Bear Lake. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.
Tidioute
Retail theft. Tidioute Borough Police said Margaret A. Froman 56, Tidioute, was charged with retail theft after she concealed $12.99 worth of merchandise in her purse and attempted to leave Polly’s Market at 1:50 p.m. June 28.

Parole violation. On June 30, officers of the Warren County Probation Department with assistance from Warren City Police, Conewango Township Police, Youngsville Police, Warren-based state police, and the Warren County DUI Task Force arrested Jesse J. Greenhalgh, 25, Warren, on a charge of parole violation. According to police, after a vehicle crash near the intersection of Pennsylvania Ave. W. and Chestnut St., occupants of the vehicle fled on foot. Law enforcement from several agencies engaged in the pursuit. According to police, during the foot pursuit Greenhalgh was found in an intoxicated state, hiding in the rear yard of a property near the intersection of Beech St. and Fourth Ave. Greenhalgh, who was originally place on parole on the charge of theft by unlawful yaking, was arrested by probation officers on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action. Warren City Police told the Probation Department that Greenhalgh faces several new criminal charges.
Parole violation. On June 28, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department with the assistance from Warren City Police arrested Joshua D. Wightman, 26, Youngsville, on a charge of parole violation. According to police, when Warren City Police first came into contact with Wightman on June 28, he was unresponsive. Police said tests revealed the Wightman had ingested “bath salts” and other controlled substances. Wightman, who was originally placed on parole on the charge of criminal trespass, was arrested by probation officers on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Probation violation. On June 28, Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Mikki Pierce, 25, Warren, on a charge of probation violation. Pierce, who was originally placed on intermediate punishment on the charge of possession with intent to deliver, was taken into custody by probation officers on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Found. On June 30, a bicycle was found in the area of Jackson Run and Creekside Lane. The owner may call Conewango Township Police, 726-0725, to identify and claim it.
Theft. Conewango Township Police report on June 24 at approximaely 4:14 a.m., two unidentified white males used bolt cutters to cut the security chain on a Murray riding lawn mower parked in front of the Warren Commons’ Walmart. Police said the unidentified males loaded the the mower into a dark-colored Chevrolet/GMC or similar sized pick-up truck and fled the area northbound on Market St. The total value is $845.88.
Theft. Conewango Township Police said on Saturday, June 29, at approximately 3:30 a.m., two unknown males cut the security chain on a 42-inch Murray riding lawn mower parked in front of the Warren Commons’ Walmart. They loaded the mower into a dark-colored Chevrolet/GMC or similar sized pick-up truck and fled the area northbound on Market St. The total value of the theft is $1,188. Anyone with information about either theft is asked to contact the township police at 726-0725.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report between June 29 at 5 p.m. and June 30 at 10 a.m., someone cut a tree down on top of power lines leading to oil wells owned by John Branch, Warren. Damage is estimated at $100. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.
Mead Twp.
Found. Warren-based state police report on June 27 at 2:26 a.m., two approximately 4-foot, decorative, metal swords were found in the area of the Rest Stop Inn in Tiona. The owner can claim them by contacting the state police.
Theft. According to Warren-based state police, on June 22, an unknown suspect agreed to purchase a vehicle advertised in Pennswoods classifieds from Cody Allen Shrefler, 19, Clarendon. Police said the suspect sent Shrefler a check for more than the listed purchasing amount, requesting the additional money be returned via Western Union. Police said Shrefler cashed the initial check, and returned the requested amount. The suspect then canceled the transaction, only to contact Shrefler a few days later wanting to purchase the vehicle again. The suspect sent an additional check, again asking for the difference to be returned via Western Union. Police said Shrefler learned the first check was fraudulent. The investigation is pending.
Youngsville
Harassment. Youngsville Borough Police report Kevin Blakeslee, Youngsville, is being charged with harassment. According to police, on June 23, Blakeslee subjected a female individual to physical contact during a dispute by grabbing the victim’s face and bending her fingers back. Charges have been filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.
DUI/firearms. Youngsville Borough Police report Shannon Frew, Edinboro, ,is being charged with DUI and possession of a firearm without a license. Frew was stopped by police at approximaely 12:45 a.m. on June 29 for committing a traffic violation. Police said Frew admitted to having a 9mm pistol beside the center console of her vehicle, and stated she did not have a concealed weapons permit for it. Police said she was later found to be under the influence of alcohol. Frew was arrested and taken to Warren General Hospital for a blood draw. Police said charges are pending the results of the blood analysis.
