Arrested. According to District Attorney Rob Greene, Warren County Drug Task Force agents arrested Robert Crouse on May 21 for two counts of possession with intent to deliver, two counts of criminal use of a communication facility and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Greene said the arrest was the result of a task force investigation initiated in January into Crouse’s involvement in the trafficking of bath salts. On May 27, Crouse waived his preliminary hearing and was held on $35,000 bond. Greene said anyone can report suspected drug-related activity by calling the Chief County Detective Dee Barrett-Klakamp at 728-3462.

Burglary. Corry-based state police report that sometime between 12:01 a.m. on April 29 and midnight on May 25, someone entered into a residence at 1610 Sample Flats Road, took various items, and fled undetected.
Burglary. Corry-based state police report that sometime between 3:45 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on May 24, someone entered Columbus Pre-owned Auto Sales through an unlocked door and removed $200 from a filing cabinet. The intruder then damaged another filing cabinet owned by Network Forest Products while attempting to gain entry into the cabinet. The subject fled the scene undetected.

Theft. Pennsylvania State Police are looking for information about thefts from motor vehicles that took place at 3 a.m. Sunday, May 24, along Emerson Hill Road. According to police, someone took a large amount of cash and several packs of Marlboro Special Blend cigarettes from vehicles parked at a camp. Simple assault/domestic violence. State police report that at 8:32 p.m. on May 23, at Deep Wood Home Vacation rentals, a known 45-year old male from Akron, N.Y. and a known 49-year old female from Medina, N.Y., became involved in a verbal disagreement that resulted in physical contact. Both parties sustained injuries, and both were taken into custody and placed in the Warren County Jail on an emergency commitment. They were arraigned before District Judge Glenn Carlson, both posted $2,500 bail and were ordered to have no contact with one another.
Pittsfield Twp.
DUI. According to Pennsylvania State Police, William G. Fessler, 19, Erie, was stopped for a traffic violation at 1:33 a.m. Sunday, May 24, on Route 27, when police determined he was under the influence of alcohol. Police said charges were filed through District Justice Art Zerbe.
Burglary. Pennsylvania State Police are looking for information in the burglary of a cabin sometime Friday, May 22 or Saturday, May 23, at Tussey Mountain Cabins on Tussey Lane. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 728-3600 or Warren County Crimestoppers at 800-83-CRIME.

Burglary. Warren-based state police report that between 2:30 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. on May 23, someone entered a residence at 67 Farm Lane through a rear door without forced entry. Crash. A Youngsville man was injured in a one-vehicle roll-over crash at 10:16 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, on Mathews Run Road just south of Patchen Hollow Road. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Dennie C. Nagel Jr., 40, Youngsville, was transported for treatment of moderate injuries after his southbound vehicle left the road into some tall grass, then crossed back across both travel lanes and entering a ditch. The vehicle rolled onto its side, then roof, then returned to its wheels, police said.

DUI. Pennsylvania State Police report that Sara L. Vest, 39, of Daniel, Wyoming was observed committing several traffic violations on Route 6 on Tuesday, May 12, at 2:15 p.m. According to police, she was taken into custody after exhibiting signs of intoxication and incarcerated in the Warren County Jail.
Youngsville
Disorderly conduct. State police report that at 9:53 p.m. Sunday, May 24, Pamela Marie McMillen, 27, West Main Street, Youngsville, pounded on an exterior door of a residence where the victim was located. The pounding caused the unlatched door to open, and McMillen caused a public annoyance by yelling in a threatening manner at the victim, police said. McMillen was charged with disorderly contact through District Judge Arthur Zerbe’s office.

Cited. Warren City police said Alice Best, 72, Warren, was cited for careless driving on May 20 following a two-car traffic accident where she struck a legally parked vehicle on Conewango Avenue.
Charged. Warren City police said three juveniles were charged with burglary and theft by unlawful taking, and a fourth juvenile was charged with burglary and receiving stolen property following an investigation by police into a break-in at a business.
Charged. Warren City police said Lori Jashurek, 44, and Kenndal Russell, 20, both of Warren, were charged with retail theft after officers responded to a report of shoplifting at a local convenience store on April 23.
Warrant arrest. Pennsylvania State Constables reported that on May 21 at 3 p.m. they, along with Warren City Police, arrested Christopher A. Zaffion, 30, Warren, on an arrest warrant for failure to respond to abandoning a motor vehicle on private property issued by District Justice Glenn Carlson. Zaffion was taken before District Justice Laura Bauer and remanded to the Warren County Jail.
Conewango Twp.
Retail theft. According to Conewango Township police, over the course of several months, Walmart loss prevention personnel conducted an internal investigation into several employees. Over the course of that investigation, it was discovered that they were under-ringing food from the deli by charging themselves for a smaller amount of food than they were actually taking. Police said Yvonne Wolfe, Warren, had stolen $636 worth of deli food, Amy Jenkins, Warren, had stolen $360 worth of deli food, Austin Hanson, Sheffield, had stolen $168 worth of deli food and Alexis Sumner, Warren, had stolen $100 worth of deli food. Police said they have charged Wolfe, Hanson and Jenkins with one count each of misdemeanor retail theft and Sumner with a count of summary retail theft.

On May 21 at approximately 7:30 a.m. the Jamestown High School Resource Officer was alerted to a male subject that was allegedly exposing himself to female students in the E. 1st St. area. Jamestown Police said they located David Scott Kuzminski, 53, Russell, in the area and took him into custody after witnesses confirmed that he had exposed his genitals to them. Kuzminski was charged with public lewdness and was arraigned in Jamestown City Court.

Police said Andrew Seither, 24, Warren, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of the same traffic stop.
Cited. Warren City police said Aaron Arnold, 23, Warren, was cited for allowing dogs to run at large on May 8 after officers responded to a report of a found dog. Police said this was the second time they had been called regarding the same dog in a week.

Charged. Warren City police said Kenndal Russell, 20, Warren, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness on May 8 after officers responded to a report of a suspicious female.

Warren City police said Alexander Jesson, 20, Warren, was charged with false reports to law enforcement, reckless driving, immediate notice of accident, driving on roadways laned for traffic and driving at a safe speed following a one-car accident on Conewango Avenue on May 9 at 12:06 a.m. Police said Jesson was placed in the Warren County Jail on an emergency commitment.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between Dec. 1, 2014 and May 6 someone gained access to an abandoned residence on Route 27 and removed a white antique claw foot bath rub from inside the residence. Police said the investigation remains active and asked anyone with information to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Spring Creek
Twp.
Scattering rubbish. Warren-based state police reported that someone dumped two black trash bags full of garbage in a field belonging to Richard Prather, located on Lindsey Hollow Road. Police said the incident occurred between May 9 and May 12. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a motorcycle-deer accident at 2:49 p.m. May 19 on Old Route 77, west of Lindsey Hollow Road. According to police, David Shelly, 57, Columbus was westbound on Old Route 77 on a 1986 Honda Goldwing at approximately 45 miles per hour when he struck a deer that was crossing the road. Police said Shelly’s motorcycle left approximately 10 feet of skid marks before leaving the north berm of the road and striking a ditch, traveling another 15 feet then sliding sideways before coming to rest on the road. Police said Shelly was thrown over the handle bars of the motorcycle and came to rest approximately 20 feet west of the motorcycle. Police said Shelly, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to Corry Memorial Hospital by Spartansburg VFD ambulance. Spring Creek volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.

Retail theft. According to Warren-based state police, on May 14 at 4:35 p.m. John M. Schlopy and Kate M. Schlopy were observed by Walmart loss prevention personnel leaving the store with $1,119.41 worth of merchandise before paying the total amount. Police said they charged the suspects with felony retail theft and criminal conspiracy. Police said John Schlopy was also charged with a summary traffic violation.
Retail theft. Warren-based state police reported that on May 16, between 1:46 a.m. and 4:05 a.m., two suspects a 51-year-old male and a 25-year-old male, both of Jamestown, N.Y. entered Walmart and defeated security tags and took items off of the shelves to exit the store in an expeditious manner. Police said the 25-year-old was observed moving the vehicle to facilitate the commission of the crime. Upon being apprehended, the 51-year-old male was found to be wanted for parole violations. Additionally, upon review of security tapes, both suspects were identified as suspects in two previous thefts being investigated by local police. Police said the 51-year-old faces felony retail theft charges and the 25-year-old faces misdemeanor retail theft charges. Police said the 51-year-old had been previously banned from all Walmart stores. Police did not release the names of the accused.
Farmington Twp.
Simple assault. Warren-based state police reported that on May 17 at approximately 8 a.m. a known 40-year-old female and Brian Lee Fedorchuk, 44, both of Warren, were involved in a verbal disagreement that turned into a physical altercation. The incident occurred on Steeler Lane. Police said the victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the altercation. Fedorchuk was taken into custody and charged with simple assault and harassment through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office in North Warren. He was arraigned at approximately 8:30 p.m. before Bauer and was released on his own recognizance.
Criminal trespass. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between March 1 and May 10 someone arrived at the property of a 77-year-old male, Warren, located on Valentine Run Road and gained entry into the barn and residence by forcing locked entry doors open. No property was reported missing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Glade Twp.
Criminal mischief. Personnel at Advantage Tank Lines reported to Warren-based state police than on May 14 someone damaged an orange hard hat belonging to the company.
Limestone Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between Feb. 1 and May 16 someone entered a boat belonging to Ernest Daniel Barker, Tidioute, and removed four white Jensen speakers. The boat was located at 16570 Rt. 62. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that two victims reported to state police that they have been receiving unwanted contact from a known male suspect between Feb. 15 and May 13. Police said the investigation continues. Police did not release the name of the accused.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that on May 15 at approximately 11 p.m. a known 13-year-old juvenile, Tiona, broke two solar lights belonging to Linda Marie Trumball, Clarendon, at a residence on Center Street. Police said the investigation continues.
Bad checks. Warren-based state police reported that a known female suspect issued 11 checks to Baker’s Service Station between Aug. 25, 2014 and May 15, 2015 and that no funds are in the account. Police said the investigation continues. Police did not release the name of the accused.
Bad check. Warren-based state police reported that Shad M. Gutshall issued a bad check to Baker Service Station on Jan. 22 for $20 on a closed account. Charges were filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
Tidioute
Hit and run. Tidioute Borough police responded to a hit and run at 5:55 p.m. on May 16 in the Northwest Savings Bank parking lot. Police said that a witness said a two-tone blue Ford F-150 with an unknown driver went through the fence and hit a garbage shelter. After the witness checked on the driver, she went to call police and when police arrived at 6 p.m. the vehicle was gone.
Overdose. Tidioute Borough police are continuing an investigation into a drug overdose at 8:45 p.m. May 16 in front of the Tidioute Hotel of a 50-year-old female who was unresponsive. Police said the woman was transported to Warren General Hospital by Tidioute ambulance.
Chautauqua
County, N.Y.
Warrants arrest. At about 1:30 p.m. on May 15, Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jacklyn M. Long, 26, of Jamestown, N.Y., at the Chautauqua County Jail. She was arrested on a warrant issued by District Justice Glenn Carlson on original charges of two counts of forgery and four counts of access device fraud, and one count of receiving stolen property. She was placed in the Warren County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. She was also arrested on a warrant issued by District Justice Laura Bauer on original charges of retail theft and defiant trespass, and bail was set at $5,000 unsecured.

Theft. Pennsylvania State Police report that sometime between Tuesday and Thursday someone removed money from a 61-year old male’s vehicle on May 12 and 14 while parked at Werner Park on Route 62.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Harassment. Pennsylvania State Police report at 5:30 p.m. on May 13, a known male and female were cited for harassment during an investigation of domestic violence in the area of Rounds Hill Road and Route 69. Charges were filed through District Justice Bauer’s office.
Busti, N.Y.
Meth lab. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force reported that at approximately 8:52 p.m. on May 14, members of the force executed two search warrants simultaneously at lots B2 and B6 at the Bosco Trailer Park, 611 Busti Sugar Grove Road in the Town of Busti. It is alleged that Edward R. Olsen, 23 has been using the house trailers to manufacture, store and distribute methamphetamine. While the residences were being entered, the officers located Brian D. Olsen, 29 and took him into custody on an outstanding warrant from the town of North Harmony. When officers entered the trailer at lot B2, they located Sarah J. Deering, 23, and two small children, and found evidence of methamphetamine, marijuana and two shotguns with ammunition. Because of the items and the deplorable living conditions, Chautauqua County Child Protective Services were called to the scene and the children were taken into protective custody. Once inside the residence at lot B6, officers found two working “one bottle” methamphetamine labs and one spent lab. Also located inside the residence were five shotguns and rifles, ammunition, and a large assortment of precursors. As a result of the search and clean-up of the scene by the DEA Clandestine Lab Team, authorities seized 55 ounces of methamphetamine oil. As a result of that seizure, Edward Olsen will also be charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, an A-2 felony. He and Deering will be charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana. Edward Olsen was arraigned before Justice William Geary in Busti, and is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail without bail. Deering will be arraigned at a later date, according to police. Brian Olsen was arraigned in the Town of North Harmony Court, and was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail. Edward Olsen will be charged with additional charges after evidence is processed by a crime lab in Olean, police said.

Warrant arrest. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kimberly F. Lawson, 45, Ludlow, on a bench warrant for failure to appear for sentence court as directed by President Judge Maureen Skerda. Lawson was incarcerated in the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Columbus Twp.
Theft from motor vehicle. Corry-based state police reported that sometime between April 29 and May 11 someone took an Auvio Bluetooth Speaker from a vehicle parked at 4570 Blue Eye Rd. belonging to Bradley Nichols, Columbus.
Forest County
Criminal mischief. Marienville-based state police reported that on May 12 at 9 p.m. Anthony Pollaro, 23, Tidioute, smashed the front and rear windshields from a victim’s vehicle causing $300 in damage. Police said Pollaro was charged with one count of summary criminal mischief. Police said a non-traffic citation was filed.

Theft from a motor vehicle. Warren-based state police reported that on May 13 between 10 a.m. and 11:20 a.m. a known individual entered a vehicle belonging to Danielle Brooks Duso, 26, Flushing, Mich., that was located at the Bent Run Waterfall parking lot and removed a purse and all of its contents before fleeing in an unknown direction. Pleasant Twp.
Liquor law violation. Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement reported that a citation was issued on May 11 against Forester Restaurant, LLC, which, police allege, sold alcoholic beverages after the restaurant’s liquor license expired on July 31, 2014 and had not been renewed and/or validated between Aug. 1 and Aug. 3. Police said the charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who can impose penalties ranging from $50 to $5,000.
Chautauqua County,
N.Y.
Arson. A grand jury in Chautauqua County has sent up indictments for three individuals who were charged last week with the fire that occurred on April 30 at 19 Pearl St. in Jamestown, N.Y. The three subjects Jimmy Graves, 30, Jonathan Fields, 25, and a 16-year-old Buffalo resident have all been indicted for arson, burglary and criminal mischief. Jamestown Police said the investigation revealed that all three individuals illegally entered the home and caused damage inside, removing several items before setting the apartment on fire. Police said the suspects fled and were located a short time later by police. All three are currently being held in the Chautauqua County Jail. Fields is being held on $100,000/$200,000 bail, Graves on $150,000/$300,000 bail and the juvenile on $100,000/$200,000 bail.

Public drunkenness. City of Warren police reported that Lacy Clark, 24, and Nicholas Mohr, 22, both of Warren, were cited with public drunkenness on April 18 after police received a call reporting that people were in the roadway acting intoxicated.
Forgery. City of Warren police reported that Cody Hennessey, 26, Warren, was charged with three counts of forgery, identity theft, three counts of theft by unlawful taking, three counts of theft by deception and two counts of receiving stolen property on April 17 following an investigation.
Child endangerment. City of Warren police reported that a 17-year-old was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of children on April 23 following an investigation.
Theft by deception. City of Warren police reported that Kenndal Russell, 20, Warren, was charged with theft by deception on May 3 following an investigation.
Rape. City of Warren police reported that Dustin Anthony, 28, Warren, was charged with two counts of rape, aggravated indecent assault, unlawful restraint, two counts of indecent assault and other sexual offenses on May 1 following an investigation. He was arraigned before District Justice Glenn Carlson and placed in the Warren County Jail on $35,000 bail.
Crash. City of Warren police reported that Steven Jenkins, 22, Warren, was charged with accidents involving damage to attended vehicles, duty to give information and render aid and registration and certificate of title required following a two-vehicle accident at Pennsylvania Ave. and Elm St. on April 18.
Bad check. City of Warren police reported that Kelly Crull, 50, Garland, was charged with bad checks on April 25 after a check was issued to a local business for the amount of $516 and was returned because of not sufficient funds.
Theft. City of Warren police reported that Domingo Blume-Hearn, 18, Warren, was charged for two separate incidents with two counts of theft by unlawful taking and two counts of receiving stolen property following investigations. He was arraigned before District Justice Glenn Carlson and placed in the Warren County Jail on $5,000 bail.
Theft. City of Warren police reported that Ashley Thornton, 35, Warren, was charged with theft by unlawful taking following an investigation into the removal of his electronic monitoring device that had been provided to him by the Parole Department of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Crash. City of Warren police reported that Timothy Riggle, 60, Warren, was cited for careless driving following a two-vehicle accident at Pennsylvania Avenue and Water Street on April 27.
Disorderly conduct. City of Warren police reported that a 16-year-old juvenile was cited for disorderly conduct on April 30 following an investigation.
Terroristic threats. City of Warren police reported that a 13-year-old juvenile was charged with terroristic threats and disorderly conduct on May 7 following an investigation.

Bailey, 47, Clarendon, was traveling east on Route 6. The vehicle stopped due to construction traffic and a passenger, Jean M. Fogarty, 47, Clarendon, attempted to exit the vehicle via the back passenger side door. As traffic resumed normal flow, Bailed was unaware of the exiting passenger and began traveling eastbound. Fogarty, only partially out of the vehicle, was struck by the rear passenger side tire, receiving major injury to the right leg/ankle area. Police said Fogarty was subsequently transported from the scene to Warren General Hospital by EmergyCare ambulance. Police said Bailey was not cited.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between May 3 and May 7 someone entered 86 Buena Vista Blvd. and removed property from the garage before fleeing the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Youngsville
Liquor law violation. The Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement of the Pennsylvania State Police reported that a citation was issued on May 1 against Down Under, 7 E. Main St., Youngsville. Police allege that the establishment sold, furnished and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to a 20-year-old minor on March 25. Police said that the charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who can impose penalties ranging from $50 to $5,000.

Charged. According to Warren-based state police, at 5:36 p.m. Sunday, May 10, troopers responded to a disturbance on Buena Vista Blvd. When police arrived, Leroy Blake Work, 54, Warren, was allegedly fleeing on an ATV south on Buena Vista Blvd. Police said they activated their emergency lights and sirens and began a short chase with Work. Police say Work rolled the ATV and was under the influence of alcohol. Police said Work has been charged with fleeing and eluding and DUI, along with several summary violations.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police said at 8:50 p.m. on Friday, May 8, a motorcycle operated by David L. Armstrong, 56, Warren, hit a deer that had jumped into the eastbound lane on Route 957, causing the motorcycle to tip onto its side and slide along the road. Armstrong was flown to Hamot Medical Center, Erie, for major injuries from both the deer and the road. His passenger, Janice E. Armstrong, 53, Warren, was transported to WCA Hospital, Jamestown, N.Y., by ambulance for moderate injuries.

Burglary. Warren-based state police are investigating several burglaries in the area of Riverside Lane which occurred between March 28 and March 29. Several items including two shotguns and a 9 mm pistol were stolen. The total value of the stolen items exceeded $5,000. Police said the accused also caused damage exceeding $2,000 in the course of the burglaries. State police from Butler recovered one of the shotguns that had been stolen during the course of an investigation initiated in their patrol area. Several other stolen items from a total of five victims were later recovered in West Sunbury, Pa. On May 7, police said a criminal complaint was filed at District Justice Arthur Zerbe’s office charging Randy L. Halstead, Jr., 21, West Sunbury, Pa.; Matthew J. Walker, 21, Butler, Pa.; and Bryan J. Fry, 20, Slippery Rock, with felony counts including burglary and theft. Felony arrest warrants were issued and anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Youngsville
Bad check. Youngsville Borough Police report that Tiffani Palmer, 47, Elgin, Pa., issued a bad check on March 29 to District Judge Zerbe’s office in the amount of $140.50 that was returned for not sufficient funds. A citation has issued with District Judge Glenn Carlson’s office.
Hit and run. It was reported to Youngsville Police that on Tuesday, May 5 around 1 p.m. an unknown person(s) struck a 2004 Toyota Camry while parked at the Tops Parking Lot causing damage to the vehicle before fleeing the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 563-7555.
Criminal mischief. A known seventeen-year-old male reported to Youngsville Police that someone allegedly removed three of his lug nuts and loosened two others from his truck while parked at the Youngsville High School parking lot. Damage occurred to his vehicle while driving on the highway. The lug nuts were located in his rear mounted tool box. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 563-7555.

Retail theft. Conewango Township police reported that on May 5 at 3:50 p.m. Walmart Loss Prevention witnessed Lacy Grace Abraham, 17 Eddy St. Apt. B, Warren, steal $34.58 worth of merchandise from the Walmart store. Police subsequently charged Abraham with one count of misdemeanor retail theft for the violation.
Mead Twp.
False reports. Warren-based state police reported that on April 29 at 11:55 p.m. on US 6 west of Pa. Ave. James H. Bolyard, Jr., 24, Bradford, was stopped for a traffic violation. It was later discovered that the accused had given law enforcement false information. Police said charges of false identification to law enforcement and false reports, as well as several summary violations, to law enforcement on May 4 before District Justice Laura Bauer.
Pittsfield Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between October 28, 2014 and May 3, 2015 someone arrived at a 65-year-old male victim’s camp located on Crippen Hill Rd. and removed an air conditioning compressor from an outside air condition unit valued at $2,000. Tidioute
Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that on May 6 between 12:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. someone entered Evan’s Market in Tidioute and removed an estimated $3,200 in cash and receipts. Police said the investigation continues.
Youngsville
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that on May 4 between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. someone tampered with a known 35-year-old male victim’s registration plate by cutting the corner of the registration plate where the registration sticker was located. The incident occurred at Lapnski Logging. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Chautauqua Co.
Heroine arrest. An ongoing investigation into the trafficking and sales of heroine into the Jamestown area led investigators from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and the NYSP CNET to execute a search warrant at 6 Winsor St. at 11:40 a.m. on May 6. Inside, investigators located Zuleka Fuentes Cruz, 34, Jamestown, NY, and police said she has been charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance and obstructing governmental administration as she did become combative with officers inside the residence and the city jail. Investigators also located a quantity of cash that is believed to be proceeds from drug sales. Investigators said additional charges are expected. Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that on May 5 at 3 a.m. an unknown individual entered the unlocked back door of 1100 Porter Hill Rd. and walked into the kitchen area of the house. The victim, Kiel Whitman, woke up and startled the individual, who exited the same back door. No description was able to be provided of the individual who fled in an unknown direction.
Sheffield Twp.
DUI. Warren-based state police reported that a known 26-year-old male, Sheffield, was stopped for multiple traffic violations on Keystone Ave. on May 5 at 1:34 a.m. During the course of the traffic stop, it was discovered that the suspect was driving under the influence. Police said the suspect, who they did not name, was arrested.
Fugitive from justice. Warren-based state police reported that on May 3 at 2:30 p.m. they were investigating a crash on Mill Street and determined that Robert L. Barrett, 57, was wanted in New York for a probation violation. Barrett was subsequently arrested and placed in the Warren County Jail pending extradition.
Crawford Co.
DUI. Corry-based state police reported that on May 5 at 1:52 a.m. Bradley Allen, 50, Grand Valley, was found to be DUI during a traffic stop on Enterprise Rd. Police said charges will be filed with District Justice Amy Nicols.
Chautauqua Co., NY
Fugitive from justice. On May 4 at approximately 9:54 p.m. Jamestown Police Department officers responded to a call at 246 Willard St. While on scene, officers located Christine M. Redding, 35, hiding in a bedroom of the apartment. Police said Redding has several valid warrants out of Warren County. Redding was arrested for fugitive from justice and transported to the city jail without incident.
Eldred Twp.
Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between 8:30 p.m. on April 29 and 8:41 p.m. on April30 someone broke the front door and made entry into a camp on Oil Creek Road, near Mickle Hill Road, owned by Keith W. Kurelowech. Police said nothing was stolen but some items were thrown around the camp. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Pleasant Twp.
Retail theft. Warren-based state police reported that on April 28 at 4:21 p.m. someone filled their vehicle’s gas tank with gasoline at Country Fair and left the scene without paying for it.
Crawford County
Crash. Corry-based state responded to a two-vehicle accident on May 1 at 9:20 a.m. on Route 77, west of Route 89, in Sparta Township. According to police, an International tractor trailer, driven by Allan Charles Bowns, 47, Bear Lake, was traveling east on Route 77 when it lost two tires, which began rolling down the road. A Toyota Camry, driven by Arden Earll, 90, Corry, was traveling west on Route 77 when one of the tires hit his vehicle, causing major damage. A passenger in Earll’s vehicle, 80-year-old Shirley Ann Earll, sustained what police described as minor injuries.

Brokenstraw Twp.
Crash. A two-vehicle crash at 1:11 p.m. last Thursday on Route 6 resulted in minor injuries to the drivers of both vehicles. According to Pennsylvania State Police, a westbound car driven by Paul Leofsky, 84, Youngsville, drifted into the eastbound lane and sideswiped a vehicle driven by Taylor Josephson, 21, Youngsville, causing Josephson’s vehicle to enter a ditch. Police said Leofsky was cited for roadways laned for traffic. Leofsky was treated at the scene for minor injuries, police said, and Josephson was transported by Emergycare to Warren General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies assisted at the scene.
Conewango Twp.
Possession. Conewango Township police reported that on Wednesday, April 15 at approximately 9:06 p.m. police responded to a 911 hang-up call at 417 Jackson Run Rd. Police said upon arrival they met with Richard A. Jordan, 34, Warren, and a strong odor of burnt marijuana was present. The residence was secured and a search warrant was obtained. Police said the warrant resulted in the confiscation of over one pound of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, digital scale, packaging material and $600 in cash. Jordan was subsequently committed to the Warren County Jail on $25,000 bail.
Glade Twp.
Criminal mischief. Tamara Graham reported to Warren-based state police that between 8 p.m. April 26 and 6 p.m. April 30 someone took mail from a mailbox on Big Four Road and ripped it up. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or CrimesStoppers.
Youngsville
Burglary. Youngsville Borough Police are investigating a burglary that took place between April 25 and May 2 on N. Main Street. According to police, someone broke into a tool shed and removed several tools and a lawnmower battery valued at about $100. Police said they believe the incident is related to a burglary April 28 on Brickyard Lane. Forest Co.
Assault. Pennsylvania State Police are looking for two men who allegedly assaulted a woman between 10:05 and 10:20 p.m. Monday, April 27, in a parking lot near the Kelly Hotel and Restaurant in Marienville, Forest County. According to police, a known female victim walked out of the restaurant, crossed South Forest Street into a parking lot, where two white men grabbed her and took her behind a dumpster where they physically assaulted her and attempted to sexually assault her before “getting spooked,” releasing the victim, and leaving the scene. Police issued the following descriptions of the suspects, both of whom appear to be in their 30s: 1. 5’5 to 5’8, stocky build, short, dark, bushy hair, and brown eyes; 2. 6’0 to 6’2, tall and thin, short, lighter-colored hair.
McKean Co.
A McKean County man is accused of aggravated assault, simple assault, and endangering the welfare of one of his children. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Todd Long, 25, of Kane, was home with his children at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday, when his three-month-old daughter fell off the bed. Long allegedly picked up the girl, then dropped her. Police said the child was taken to Kane Community Hospital for evaluation about an hour after she sustained injuries described as bleeding to the brain in two separate locations, left side face bruising, and right side buttocks bruising. The child was taken by emergency helicopter to Childrens Hospital where she was listed in critical condition. Long was arraigned before District Justice Richard Luther and jailed on $100,000 bail.
Chautauqua Co., NY
Arrested. A Jamestown, N.Y., woman wanted in Warren County was arrested after a traffic stop at 11:25 p.m. Saturday in Jamestown, N.Y., for having inadequate brake lights. Jamestown Police determined that Terrie J. Woodruff, 41, was driving with a suspended license and was listed as a fugitive from justice. She was taken to Jamestown City Jail.

Retail theft. Conewango Township police reported that Walmart Loss Prevention personnel conducted an investigation into several thefts by an employee, Macy R. Retterer, 18, Indiana, Pa., with the total amount being $100. Police said they were then contacted and Retterer was charged with retail theft.
Farmington Twp.
Scattering rubbish. Warren-based state police have arrested Dylan A. Conklin, 23, for scattering rubbish on Peterson Hollow Road on April 7 between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Police said there were several bags left along the road with receipts belonging to Conklin.
Spring Creek
Accidental death. Warren-based state police reported that they were contacted by Warren County 911 on April 29 reporting a fire at a residence on Oil Creek Road between 5 p.m. and 8:15 a.m. from April 29 into April 30. Raymond C. Griswold, 70, Spring Creek, was discovered in his kitchen by a caretaker. Police said an investigation indicated a flame had ignited an oxygen supply system causing an explosion. Griswold was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Gary Sickler.
