Sentences handed down in several DUI cases

Several sentences in driving under the influence cases were handed down Friday by Judge Maureen Skerda.

Andrew L. Bihon, 75, Tidioute, pleaded guilty to DUI and two traffic offenses earlier this year while an additional traffic offense was not prosecuted. He was sentenced to a $750 fine, a 12-month driver’s license suspension, six month restrictive intermediate punishment that includes 15 days in the county jail and 15 days house arrest with use of a SCRAM bracelet, attending a victim’s impact panel and alcohol highway safety school, outpatient drug and alcohol treatment and 30 hours of community service. He will also pay a $25 fine for each of two traffic violations.

Jaykup D. Durlin, 28, of Pittsfield, pleaded guilty to DUI – second offense, and four traffic offenses earlier this year. He was sentenced to pay a $750 fine for the DUI conviction, a 12 month driver’s license suspension, attending a victim’s impact panel and alcohol highway safety school, continuing drug and alcohol treatment and 30 hours of community service. He will also pay fines totaling $627 for the traffic violations.

Cameron T. Hale, 34, of Warren was sentenced to a $750 fine, 12 month driver’s license suspension, six month restrictive intermediate punishment that includes 15 days in the county jail and 15 days house arrest with use of a SCRAM bracelet, attending alcohol highway safety school, drug, alcohol and mental health treatment and 30 hours community service. He was also ordered to pay $50 in fines for traffic violations.

DUI. Mandy R. Jurkowski, 35, Warren, was sentenced to pay a $500 fine, a 12-month driver’s license suspension, six months restrictive intermediate punishment that includes 15 days in the county jail and 15 days house arrest with a SCRAM bracelet, attending a victim’s impact panel and alcohol highway safety school, intensive outpatient program and 30 hours of community service after her Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition was revoked. She will also pay a $25 fine for a traffic violation.

Amanda R. Havle, 45, of Warren was sentenced to 89 days to two years and one day in the Warren County Jail, with credit for 89 days served, a $500 fine, immediate parole, mental health counseling, intensive outpatient treatment and 70 hours community service after pleading guilty to resisting arrest. She was charged to 12 months probation for a guilty plea to possession of a controlled substance and a $300 fine for harassment.

Joshua D. Burger, 32, of Reynoldsville, Pa., was sentenced to a $1,000 fine, two years probation, a mental health evaluation after pleading no contest to a charge of terroristic threats.

Katelin D. Smith, 30, of Warren was sentenced to a $250 fine, up to a year in the Warren County jail with immediate parole under an appropriate parole plan, drug and alcohol evaluation, a mental health regimen and 50 hours community service after pleading guilty to defiant trespass.

A bench warrant was issued for Andrew J. Brockhouse, 37, of Monessen, Pa., who had previously pleaded guilty to retail theft.
