Warren County Food Drive underway
Northwest Bank along with Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania and others are working together to raise donations of food and money to benefit local residents in need across Warren County.
The fundraiser will take place Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 6 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Donations of non-perishable food items such as canned and boxed goods and frozen turkeys will be accepted.
People can drop off cash and food donations on Liberty Street between Pennsylvania and Second Avenues. Volunteers will be on site.
Non-perishable or monetary donations can also be dropped off at any Northwest office in Warren or Youngsville from now until Nov. 20.
Donations will benefit the First Church of the Nazarene Food Pantry, St. Joseph Church, Sheffield Area Food Pantry and the Youngsville New Life Church.
“Over the years, Northwest has helped raise money and collect thousands of pounds of food –all of which has benefited local agencies and stayed within Warren County,” said Jennie Miller, Area Manager. “At Northwest, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. Partnering with Second Harvest for this food drive allows us to directly support our neighbors in need, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry. Together, we can make a lasting impact and help provide essential resources to those who need them most.”
