Free turkey dinner planned
CHANDLERS VALLEY – The public is invited to a free turkey dinner with all the fixings at Hessel Valley Lutheran Church, 166 Hessel Valley Road, Chandlers Valley. It takes place at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Bridge league
winners announced
Shelley Dahlie and Pat Fincher came in first with Chick Bello and Richard Woodruff in second in bridge league play Monday at the YMCA. Jo Simonsen placed first on Tuesday at the Allegheny Community Center and Bill Massa was second. At the Woman’s Club on Thursday, Linda Jensen rose to the top with Nan Cashman in second.
4-H Spin Club to
begin in January
Youth between the ages of 12 and 18 are invited to participate in Penn State Extension 4H of Warren and Forest Counties Warren-Forest Global Cookers 4-H Spin Club. The club meetings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Warren County 4-H Center in Pittsfield and will run for six weeks starting Jan. 22. Eisenhower Class of 1973 breakfast set
SUGAR GROVE – The Eisenhower High School Class of 1973 will have a breakfast at The Bucket Cafe in Sugar Grove at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Anyone is welcome to attend.
