Ruth M. Smith Center 95th Anniversary
The community is invited to help the Ruth M. Smith Center celebrate at 1 p.m. October 7 on the front lawn of the Center. There will be people speaking that lived at the center when it was an orphanage.
Mr. Bernie Smith and his brother, Fred, who donated a large amount to the driveway fund, have interesting stories to tell about the good old days; Pati Leggate (John Gertsch) will also be on hand to speak; and others will be speaking as well.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith wanted their home to be used to help children and those that were unable to care for themselves. We at the Center are very proud to say we have carried out their wishes with Gods Grace and love. The community of Sheffield has always been a huge part of the ministeries as well.
Piyo Class at Lions Den
