Two men charged in bar fight

Two men have been charged after they were allegedly involved in a bar fight in which they threatened to use knives Wednesday night.

David E. Frost, 58, of Marienville, was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, disorderly conduct – fight, and harassment.

David F. Waggoner, 47, of Lakewood, N.Y., was charged with terroristic threats, disorderly conduct – fight, and harassment.

Both were arraigned Thursday by District Justice Glenn Carlson and taken to Warren County jail after failing to post $20,000 bail.

City of Warren Police, Pennsylvania State Police, Conewango Township Police, and Warren County Sheriff’s deputies responded at about 8 p.m. Wednesday to a call of a fight with weapons involved at the Cornerstone Lounge, 308 Pennsylvania Ave. E.

According to City of Warren Police, Frost instigated the fight by walking into the bar, walking up to a victim who was not identified and punching him about three times in the face.

Police said Frost then “brandished” a knife and threatened to kill that victim.

“Waggoner… became involved and grabbed (Frost) about the waist attempting to pull him to the ground,” police said. “When others had (Frost) restrained, (Waggoner) punched the victim in the back multiple times and then kicked him in his side.”

Police said bar staff and bystanders were telling both defendants to stop fighting.

When Frost was released, he allegedly walked toward the original victim “attempting to provoke another fight,” police said.

Waggoner “walked over with his right hand gripping the handle of a sheathed knife” and threatened to stab Frost, police said.

The fight ended when police arrived, according to the affidavit.
