A house located at 164 Bates Street in Youngsville was destroyed by a fire Wednesday night, as was a shed on the property.

Two adjacent homes also suffered damage as a result of the blaze.

The initial call came at 8:35 p.m. Units from Garland, Starbrick, Youngsville and Spring Creek Fire Departments were on the scene.

No injuries were reported.
