ALDI marks reopening after renovations

Times Observer photo by Josh Cotton ALDI in North Warren is back open after an extensive renovation project.

Warren’s ALDI is back open after renovations that were part of a $5 billion nation-wide upgrade were completed.

“The updated store provides an improved layout and ample refrigeration to accommodate an expanded fresh and convenient food selection,” according to a statement from the company. “It also features open ceilings, natural lighting and is built with environmentally friendly materials. Like all ALDI stores, the remodeled Warren location still offers a streamlined shopping experience, but customers will notice the elevated design.”

The store was closed for several weeks before just recently re-opening.

“ALDI continues to prioritize remodeling stores with one goal in mind: to provide the best grocery shopping experience,” J.R. Perry, Saxonburg division vice president for ALDI, said. “We are excited for Warren residents to see the updated location, specifically designed to make shopping even easier, but ALDI fans can rest assured that the high-quality products and unbeatable value ALDI provides will remain unchanged.”

The Warren store will be open 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. daily.

The company continues to expand its e-commerce platform as well. Curbside pickup is now an option as is grocery delivery via InstaCart at shop.aldi.us.

Starting at $2.99/week.
