A little rain wasn’t enough to hold up the annual rodeo at the Warren County Fair.
Sunny skies soon clouded over and turned to a light drizzle Monday evening, but that didn’t stop preliminary children’s events for the ‘Chutes Out’ Rodeo at the fair.
Before the professionals took to the ring, the real fun began with a children’s sheep riding competition and stick horse races, featuring children under the age of 6 and then children between the ages of 7 and 12.
The “official” rodeo then opened with a presentation of the American flag and the national anthem. Introductions, including a ride around the ring by competing female riders, followed.
Then it was one to the main events, including bull riding, calf roping and barrel riding.
