Friday raid yields nearly two pounds of cocaine
A Warren man is behind bars after a raid by the Warren County Drug Task Force resulted in the alleged seizure of about 1.75 pounds of cocaine.
First Assistant District Attorney Cody Brown said that the street value of the seized cocaine was over $65,000.
Brown said the warrant was executed at 6 Dahl St. after “an eight-month-long investigation into the sale of cocaine.”
A Warren man, Gregory L. Berry, 34, was arrested in connection with the raid.
Online court records show that he faces charges including possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was arraigned Saturday morning and placed in the county jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is currently scheduled for Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Brown said that the warrant was executed by the Warren County Drug Task Force in conjunction with the DA’s office, AG’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigations and Drug Control and federal Homeland Security Investigations personnel.
