Community Foundation accepts October donations
The Community Foundation of Warren County received $18,600 in contributions from donors in October to the following funds held by the Community Foundation:

Mary-Emily and William S. Allen Fund – William S. Allen.
Ronnie & Joyce Weller Tidioute Development Fund – Crissy Winans, Joseph F. Vlock, Moore Garden Shoppe, Painted Pony Championship Rodeo, Rick Wagonseller, Saxon Well Service.
Second Harvest Backpack Fund – Joel & Leslie Berdine in memory of Lana Creal, W. James & Patricia Host in memory of George Hoden.
Tidioute Area Community Fund – Michael A. McEntire.
Warren Sports Boosters Michael J. Curren Memorial Scholarship Fund – Gahring Optical in memory of Tom Scarcella, Terry & Mary Jane Heggeness in memory of Tom Scarcella, Richard & Susan Curren in memory of Tom Scarcella, Richard & Susan Curren in memory of Rick & Janelle Moore.
The Community Foundation’s Trust Distribution Committee approved grants totaling $184,500 in November to the following charitable causes serving Warren County residents:
Chief Cornplanter Council, BSA – Furnace purchase
Garland Volunteer Fire Department – Breathing Air Compressor System
Kinzua Youth Development Center – Facility renovations
North Warren Presbyterian Church – Playground equipment
Warren Area Refugee Resettlement Network – Property purchase and renovations
The Community Foundation’s Trust Distribution Committee also approved non-traditional scholarships totaling $6,300 in November to 4 Warren County residents pursuing additional training or certifications to further their careers.
The Community Foundation’s Corporate Board of Directors approved Donor Advised grants totaling $245,824 in November to the following charitable causes: A Safe Place, Allegheny Community Center, Allegheny Valley Veterans Center, Bollinger-Barber National Institute, Caring for Life, CASA, Chautauqua Foundation, Chief Cornplanter Council BSA, Children’s Advocacy Center, Crary Art Gallery, Don Mills Achievement Center, Doctors Without Borders, Eisenhower Wrestling, Family Services of Warren County, First Presbyterian Church, Free Books for Kids Town, Hospice of Warren County, Jefferson DeFrees Family Center, K-9 Fund, Kids in Need Fund, North Country Mission of Hope, North Warren Presbyterian Church, Oakland Cemetery, Paws Along the River Humane Society, Robert H.
