Photo submitted to Times Observer Grace Peterson’s photo entered the insect division and won Best in Show and the People’s Choice award.

Warren County Conservation District has announced the winners of its fifth annual photo contest.

People’s choice was open for voting between Sept. 18 and 30, and 30 votes were cast in total.

The entries were judged on Oct. 3 by members of the Warren Camera Club.

Grace Peterson’s insect picture won Best of Show. In the insect category, Peterson took first and second place, as well as the People’s Choice award, with Rita Gildwaite receiving third place.

Other categories and winners are:

— Bridges, first, Richard Schuler; second, Elaine Fahrenkamp; third, Cindy Guthrie; People’s Choice, Schuler.

— Fields, first and second, Fahrenkamp; third, Rita Goldthwaite; People’s Choice, Christopher Goff.

— Fire, first, Fahrenkamp; second, Goff; third, Erika Dominick; People’s Choice, Goff.
