WCCS to hold free Thanksgiving dinner

Warren County Christian School will hold its first Thanksgiving dinner for the community on November 28th from 4 to 7 p.m.

The free dinner will take place at the school, which is located at 165 Mead Run Road in Youngsville.

Rob Emery, WCCS board president, said, “We hold many fundraisers and ask the community to give to us, so this is our opportunity to give back to the community.”

Emery said that the community has also been incredibly giving for this event.

“Johnson’s Tire and Dykes Garage are two businesses that are helping us make the dinner a success with their donations,” said Emery.

Warren Church of God offered to provide 200 desserts for the meal, for which the school is also grateful.

“If you don’t have family or can’t afford a meal, we want to welcome everyone and offer a friendly place for them to have Thanksgiving dinner,” said Emery.

Large groups should RSVP, and while the school is well prepared, the dinner will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Emails to RSVP can be sent to remery972@gmail.com or office@warrenchristiank12.org, or the school office can be called at 814-563-4457.

Starting at $2.99/week.
