Clarendon woman faces additional corruption of minor charge
A Clarendon woman already facing 28 separate charges related to the statutory rape of a 14-year-old boy now faces an additional charge of corruption of a minor.
Chyna R. Repine, 27, of Clarendon was charged by Warren city police Dec. 16 with corruption of minors for an incident that allegedly took place Nov. 3 in the city of Warren. Repine was charged in late September with a litany of sexual offenses for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old male “hundreds of times.”
Those incidents allegedly occurred at an Allegheny Drive residence between December 2023 and April 2024.
Police received a report from the juvenile’s mother, who received screenshots that allegedly showed the juvenile drinking with Repine.
In an initial interview, the juvenile admitted drinking while Repine was in the room but did not disclose any sexual contact. During an interview with a third party in September, the youth said Repine and the juvenile “began hanging out a lot and ‘smoking weed,'” the affidavit of probable cause states.
The affidavit alleges that the third party “became suspicious that something might be going on” between the juvenile and Repine. That individual told police that Repine allegedly told her that sexual contact with the minor resulted in a pregnancy that was terminated.
Police met with the juvenile again in September and allege in the affidavit that the young man was “very honest and articulate.”
The juvenile allegedly told police that he and Repine began “flirting” around Christmas and that they allegedly had sex in the following days.
He told police that “it became a regular thing” and that “she (Repine) would also purchase marijuana from the reservation in New York state and they would ‘smoke weed’ every day he was there.'” He also allegedly told police that sexual contact occurred “hundreds of times.”
Online court records show that Repine was charged with four counts each of statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and sexual assault as well as eight counts each of corruption of minors and indecent assault. A preliminary hearing on those charges was held in early October,
Formal arraignment was held Oct. 24 before Judge Maureen Skerda. Repine posted bail through a professional bondsman from Pittsburgh, but bail was revoked Nov. 27.
