Community Foundation of Warren County celebrates 75th anniversary
The Community Foundation of Warren County marked its 75th Anniversary with an open house event on Thursday, December 12th. As part of the celebration, the foundation hosted a food drive that achieved remarkable results, raising over $1,101 for local food assistance programs and collecting more than 1,000 pounds of food to support area food pantries.
The monetary donations were directed to the Second Harvest BackPack Program and the Warren County School District Food Pantry, helping to combat hunger among local children and families.
Food donations benefited multiple community food pantries, including the Sheffield Ecumenical Food Pantry, St. Joseph Church Food Pantry, Salvation Army Food Pantry, First Church of the Nazarene Food Pantry, and the 2nd Street Food Pantry of Youngsville.
The open house was a meaningful way to honor the foundation’s longstanding commitment to Warren County while fostering community collaboration.
Through their combined efforts, participants made a significant impact on addressing food insecurity in the county.
