Simply Nailed salon brings community and self care to Warren

Simply Nailed, a salon owned and operated by Lexi Smaroff offers more than a manicure. The supportive environment and non-judgemental space accompanied with artistic designs created by Smaroff adds beauty to the community.

A new gem has opened its doors at 920 Pennsylvania Ave. West, bringing a refreshing approach to nail care. Simply Nailed, owned by Lexi Smaroff, has quickly become a go-to spot for those seeking more than just a manicure or pedicure – it’s a space for community, support, and self-care.

Since opening, Smaroff has seen an overwhelming response from customers, quickly booking up appointments with a growing loyal clientele. The demand for her services has led to the addition of a new nail technician, Alexa Whipple, who joins Simply Nailed to help meet the needs of the community and further expand the salon’s offerings.

Unlike the typical nail salon, which often gets associated with gossip and chatter, Simply Nailed aims to break the mold. Smaroff has intentionally created a calm, welcoming environment where clients can unwind, practice self-care, and connect with others. It’s a place where people feel valued and supported, not just in their beauty treatments but in their personal lives as well.

“I wanted to build something that people could look forward to visiting — not just for their nails but for the sense of peace and community that it brings,” says Smaroff. “It’s important for people to leave here feeling not just pampered, but uplifted.”

Smaroff’s journey to success has not been easy.

Raised in a challenging environment marked by abuse and neglect, she faced hardships early in life. Her struggles intensified when her mother tragically took her own life when Lexi was just 20. Along with enduring the pain of her loss, Smaroff has battled a chronic illness, which has presented its own set of obstacles.

Despite these difficult experiences, she has remained resilient and uses her story as a source of strength. It is this determination and compassion that she brings to Simply Nailed, where she strives to create a space where others can feel supported and cared for.

Simply Nailed offers a wide range of nail services to meet the needs of all clients. From hard gel nails and gel manicures to acrylic sets and fills, to pedicures. Smaroff and Whipple provide expert care and attention to detail.

Additionally, Whipple specializes in eyebrow waxing, giving clients a chance to enhance their look with precision and skill.

One of the standout features of Simply Nailed is its commitment to transparency–there are no surprise fees or hidden charges, a welcome change from other salons where add-ons can unexpectedly inflate prices. At Simply Nailed, what you see is what you get, allowing customers to enjoy their experience without worrying about additional costs.

With the addition of Whipple, Smaroff plans to continue expanding her services while maintaining the heart of Simply Nailed as a space for self-care and camaraderie. “Alexa and I both share the same vision for the salon, and we’re excited to grow together,” Smaroff says.

“I know that for me this has been a healing journey, and I hope it can be the same for my clients and the community,” said Smaroff.

Simply Nailed is quickly becoming an essential part of Warren’s local businesses, offering a refreshing take on what a nail salon can be.
